Do people still think it'll be easy to re-sign Bryant?

It would be a lot easier if Dez hadn't had that "man possessed" game that he had in London. Perfect timing for him, not so much for the front office because I think they were hoping to get 'er done this week. Maybe they still will.

This is all BS... Dez will sign a long term deal for the neighborhood of 13mil per year or he will have
to play next year under the franchise tag for 12.5mi. The cowboys hold all the cards and Dez has
no choice but to play or sit at home. Either way, he stays a cowboy as long as Jerry wants him to.

If he plays hardball they could always just franchise him.

i dont think it's going to be easy but i think there's a 100% chance it gets done.

fyi jjt said today on sportscenter that dez wants around 12-13 mill and the cowboys want to give him around 10 mill a year so that's not calvin johnson money.

I am certain he gets signed. I think if Dallas gives him more money guaranteed, he can be had for 12 million annually. It's really how they play with the numbers. Both parties have a ball park figure. Both have to come to a compromise, which I am certain will get done.

he should say no comment or my agent is handling that.

that would be best I think. we want him to stay and I think he wants to be in Dallas. why reveal your thoughts like that to people who have only bad intentions? it will only make things worse

I thought it was against the rules to resurrect old threads? You just created a thread, with no real content, to point at something you wrote 4 months ago. Come on, man.

It's against the rules to bump old threads not to quote them.

This is almost as good as his Witten is done thread ..... or his time to give up on the defense thread .

You mean threads where I said that Witten shouldn't get paid top tight end money because he no longer produces like a top tight end?

And the thread where I said we should blow up the defense, mirrored by my recent thread suggesting the same still needs to occur...

What's it going to be then, eh?

The Tyron Smith contract is what threw things into disarray. A WR is not going to take that kind of commitment, nor should he.

Honestly I don't know what "good" contracts they claim to have thrown his direction, but I think they were probably more like the Smith one, which is pretty much Cowboy for Life. Not certain Bryant wants that for his career. A WR is only as good as his QB and if the deal was incentive laden, I get how the idea of not having Romo for most if not all of it would matter. There are not many elite WRs who finished their career with the same team that drafted them. In fact, they are very mobile.

I do not think he is ungrateful or greedy, but he is going to get paid.

Why isn't more being mentioned about the fact that we have two superstars on our team that are about to become free agents? Signing Bryant is easy. But how do you sign Bryant AND Murray in the same year?
