Do some fans not even realize how much this franchise has bottomed out?

there is no reasoning with homers
I disagree with Rambo2 a lot on this forum. Probably most of the time.

But one of the great things about this forum is we all have the right to express our opinions about the Cowboys the way we choose within the rules. He has the right to express his Cowboys opinions without hassle. And so do you. I support you both in that sense.

I want every Cowboys fan to have the right to express their opinions freely whether it’s a popular opinion or not.

We all all owe it to each other here to respect each other. Sometimes we just have to agree to disagree.

So what? At least I actually like the Cowboys.
I like the Cowboys too.

But I also have a little bit of self-pride and won't delude myself or get duped into believing these guys know what they are doing when they continue to do things that have failed over and over and over and over. It's kind of embarrassing IMO to be so rah rah with an owner/GM and organization that puts their own ego before actually trying to win games.

Very well said. Being a fan since the NFL announced that Dallas was going to have a team and going to their very 1st game at the Cotton Bowl, I have seen the worst of years and the best of years but regardless I have always been a fan. Game day is always special even when they lose but especially when they win.

Been to training camp in Oxnard and in San Antonio. Have been to the Cotton Bowl a number of times, season ticket holder when in Texas Stadium back when end zone tickets were around $35 a game and toured AT&T stadium a few times as well as attending games there. Tough to do now living 300 miles away and going on 74 years old.

Even when the season ends, follow them with free agency and the draft. Do I disagree with a lot of their moves and draft picks, you bet but doesn't change how I feel being a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Have disagreed with many on what they think but it is their right even when I think they are crazy.

Have followed football my whole life, played it, coached it, scouted some for a small college, and studied it. Does it make me an expert? In no way does it. But I try to come into conversations with a love for the Cowboys, with a respect for what the Cowboys coaches are looking for in a player, and of course with a knowledge of finances on why they do things especially the ones I disagree.

This forum has been a great place to read about the Cowboys, good and bad, disagree or agree, and information. The more things change, the more they sometimes stay the same.

Will the moves and signing they have made, make a difference this year, I sure hope so and expect so. Only time will tell, along with the injuries on our team as well as injuries sustained by other teams that we will play. Hopefully we make sure positive noise this year.

Thank you for this forum and thank you for the members of whom I disagree and agree, it is sometimes a God sent. Thank You.
