By far, no. They benefit from a good Dline and CB. The cover 3 does wonders with these guys.

Thanks guys. I actually didn't consider that. I still say Ronnie Lott and anyone else. He was just that good.

I think Roy was always a liability in coverage. They just didn't make him cover.

Well I agree to an extent. But in order to be a liability I believe you have to kill your team more than you help them and at that time Roy wasn't doing that. Now he eventually would go on to get exposed in coverage but at that time he wasn't.

Remember when Roy Williams could rock people, even without the horse tackle. It was like running into a brick wall when his shoulders hit them dudes. Look at 1:15 on the blitz. The greatest almost story...
