Do we bring a WR in now? or make a trade?

Its this simple.

If TO goes down. Expect to go no better than .500 in the games he does not play in.

I would like another WR added. Doesnt look like its happening.

We can always make
Patrick Cray"talks a"ton
our #1 if TO is out.

youd really rather Amendola over like a Joe Horn? Ill take Horn as the 4th WR now, and then 5th/vet leader/ insurance after Miles gets back

I know Amendola probably wont last on the PS, but you dont want to go project crazy w/ this team

Horn is done. I would not cut a young guy to bring him in. I don't think Amendola is a project. He runs the best routes on the team - coming from Pacman anyway- Horn is just a wasted roster space when you are talking about 2 weeks.

Ive been unimpressed. nothing on ST(Hed be like the 4th returner in reg. season anyway)

You dont have to flat out cut him, you can take a chance and try and sneak him on the PS, but Miami, KC, Ten, Jax would probably pick him up

You cant judge Horn on anything that happened in ATL. Hes around the same age as T.O. and also still in good shape. I wouldnt complain if he was the 4/5 WR. He wouldnt be ahead of Hurd or Miles......

I agree with this. The only way we bring in a vet should be if we make a trade for a young proven vet (Boldin, Williams) and we know how that 's coming along.

Let these young guys, WRs, have an opportunity to prove they belong.

First off I think if you took the #1 receiver off of any team, then that team is going to stuggle offensively. Take Moss off of the Pats and lets see how that offense rolls...

You just can not have incredible depth at every position-- salary cap and limited roster sizes preclude that from happening. AdamJT has already said that cap space is going to be at a premium next year due to the owners ending the agreement with the players.

Without TO, I don't veiw this as a completely inept offense. There is talent here. I think Felix Jones is already showing folks that he's the real deal.

Check out those QBs he had for any team he played with.
Oh, so eventually he will have a QB moreso than eventually he will be a star WR or that he will eventually impress a team enough to keep him around.

Gotcha.

Everything is sunshine and rainbows.

The guy has a lot of talent. If u put Randy Moss on those teams he has been with he would look crappy too,ala Oakland Raiders.lol.

Read what Calvin Coolidge had to say about how far talent alone will take someone.

I have no faith in AB. I doubt he will ever get it. The WR version of Jeff George. It will always be someone else's fault that he fails.

Your 1st off is not a blanket statement or situation. We proved that we couldnt score without TO last year. Our running game, until it shows it can, cannot lead the offense without a #1 WR like TO.

The Pats, are you kidding, thats your example. They have been scoring TD's without #1 WR's for years now.

Without TO the offense has proven that it is inept. That is not my opinion that is fact. ZERO TD's. Wishing and hoping that Felix and others stepping up will fix that... well that is not enough.

Show me.
Thats all I ask.

I can't believe anyone would be pimping AB to come back to Dallas.

AB is a malcontent. He has issues-- big time issues.

BY the way - Amendola makes the team.

I certainly hope he catches more than one pass in the next two games or he will set some sort of record for the least productive healthy receiver to ever make a final roster.

That was a fact last year we don't know if that is a fact now. Of course you will lose a big part of the offense if TO goes down and we lose some of our quick strike ability. Without TO we would have to be more ball control and rely a bit more on the defense but I don't think this team is dead in the water without Owens.

OK, without TO this offense will never score a touchdown-- got it.

BTW, wasn't there some question about Romo's thumb being buggered up too about the same time that TO was hurt/out?

Not that Romo's injury would affect the offense-- The QB doesn't matter-- it's all about TO I've been told.

You want guarantees-- guess what?

There aren't any except that someday we'll all be worm food.

He hasn't made it already? I thought it was stamped in bronze.

not unless you get cremated.

Im not in love w/ Horn either, Id rather a young speedy deep threat, some surprising cuts are always made, lets see.

If it comes down to Amendola or Reggie Williams.......

I didn't like our WR depth to begin with and was never in love with the idea of Miles Austin as our #2.
Joe Horn?
