Do we need a 4th QB in here?

I'd want someone who can push Bledsoe (if I wanted any 4th QB at all, which I don't).

Not another developmental type.

Thats dicy - He makes that move he's basically giving up on Both. I can see him giving up on one - not both.

No. He's giving up on both if he brings in another project.

The formula of

starter/

developmental-future starter/

career backup who is good enough to push the starter but won't take too many snaps away from the developmental QB..

is still the preferred situation for most.

Doesnt anyone agree on the name thing with me?

If we were in Frisco, Romo might be a good QB name, if you catch my dhift (Not a typo, think about it!)

I'd do whatever I could to get

Matt Schaub

Read an article on Schaub somewhere the other day. Atlanta said people inquired about Schaub in the offseason and they basically told them to get lost.

They like Schaub and don't expect Vick to be healthy for all 16 games.

This is the right idea though. I would love to see the team add a young guy with some experience. Maybe someone about to see their first free agent deal that has been a backup up to this point.

Don't know if anyone like that exists right now though.

There's not enough good starting QB's to go around, much less a team with 2 or 3 sitting around ready to play in the league.

Rush - good to see ya back my friend. I'm pumped on the impact of our draft this year!

No, you aren't going to trade or sign a guy ready to start right now, but you might sign a guy who has some experience and has gone through some of the growing pains already.

Garrard resigned, but that is the type of guy I would look at. Rohan Davey maybe.

Even look back at Steve Buerlein? How key was it to know if Aikman went down our season was not lost. My impetus to starting this thread is Henson/Romo HAVE TO CONVINCE THAT THEY CAN WIN IF DREW WERE INJURED.

If they don't do that this camp somebody is getting jetted in here - JMO

Henson struggling mightily are the reports. I fear he's suffering dead arm or could down the road. Drew Bledsoe really does not need reps. I'm not sure why we didn't bring another young QB to push Romo, Henson.
It's too late for another young developmental QB...we will eventually have to suck it up and draft one. I think Henson and Romo both suck and will never amount to anything more than career backups if lucky, but I'm still in the minority here, if not totally alone.

I would have brought in a vet backup, kept Henson 3rd string for another year, and jettisoned Romo.

But that's me.

if romo and/or henson flame... dust off the ancient one, VT. i, for one, prefer real depth at QB.

I alwaysliked Henson for some reason, but doesnt Romo have that Cowboys QB name...

Roger Staubach, Danny White, Troy Aikman, Tony Romo...it kinda has that ring to it, know what i mean
No, not really...

...

please don't kill me, throwing it out, not saying I want it to happen.

There's been a former DallasCowboy QB siting in a local Dallas restaurant just before the Cowboys left for Oxnard.

I'll wait another week before I reveal his name. Stay tuned, still gathering information

No we don't need a 4th QB the whole intent by Parcells was is to allow both of the young QB's to get these extra reps as for Henson he is not suffering from a dead arm.
