Do we need a 4th QB in here?

So what's Wright up to these days?

I liked Wright in limited action, although he was clearly in over his head in that Christmas night season finale against the Titans a few years back.

Not to say I think he's a franchise type QB, but Wright should have been given some of the chances that QC squandered if you ask me.

Well, I have to agree Waff. You know, sometimes things happen and you look at it and say to yourself, "That aint right." That's how I feel about Wright. I understand why the team did what they did but it just doesn't make it look any better to me. Of all the QBs Dallas has had since Aikman retired, I have always felt as if Wright had the most to ***** about. He really did nothing to merrit release. He never got beat out and he never caused problems. Even when the team screwed him, he never had anything bad to say. Unfortunate is all I can say. He deserved better in my book.

Wright is on the Raven's roster.

Doesn't Stoerner play for the Desperados? That would be shocking if he was in a bar in Dallas.

I am sure Vinny is on speed dial.

If the team considers bringing back QC, I will deem the offseason a failure irregardless of whatever else the team did. That guy is a waste of space.

Have I covered all the options? Rodney Peete? Beurlein? Kosar? :D

Whats Ryan Leaf doing?

Yeah, bring QC back for training camp so that Bill can cut him again. I can think of no other reason for QC to be part of the Cowboys ever again.

Wright, Stoerner. No thanks to Carter

I agree 100% Nors...

I think Wright on the Raven's squad, but Stoner would make a good Backup in a pinch (as long as he doesn't have to play the 2nd half against the NYG :))

I thikn this camp will tell us alot about Henson/Romo. If BP doesnt bring in anyone else, he obviously believes one of these guys can do the job if Bledsoe goes down.

I alwaysliked Henson for some reason, but doesnt Romo have that Cowboys QB name...

Roger Staubach, Danny White, Troy Aikman, Tony Romo...it kinda has that ring to it, know what i mean

In a Glenn Carano sort of way.

There's been a former DallasCowboy QB siting in a local Dallas restaurant just before the Cowboys left for Oxnard.

I'll wait another week before I reveal his name. Stay tuned, still gathering information
Well...both Troy and Roger still live in Dallas....

Yep...He definitely got the shaft here but kept his mouth shut for the most part. Basically, Jerry was too busy trying to prove his selection of Quincy Carter as a stroke of brilliance instead of allowing Wright a real chance.

Someone told me about this the other day, but I hesitated to post it. Check out the bottom of the page.

I actually agree with that. I always wanted Slash in his prime. 10 years in the league might've done some damage to him. But I dunno. I just don't trust Henson & Romo to pickup where Drew leaves off in a game. I'm not saying they can't do it. But c'mon we need someone with experience but not 20 years.

Henson struggling mightily are the reports. I fear he's suffering dead arm or could down the road. Drew Bledsoe really does not need reps. I'm not sure why we didn't bring another young QB to push Romo, Henson.

If Bozo continues to look lost out there like he did in his games last year, then yes, we need to get someone in there that knows what the heck is going on.

We need someone with experience and Drew Henson does not have the experience it takes to play NFL football.

This could hurt the team by not having enough guys to execute the offense correctly in practice.

I'm thinking we bring in a guy like Kordell and send Henson to the practice squad.

The agenda comes full circle, like Kordell, I wonder who that could be?:D

As I've stated 100 times before, my agenda is team success. And I assume you are insinuating that I'd like to have QC. I would not. That would be a distraction.

But it's time for all of the Henson jock-riders to come to realization that he just doesn't cut it at the NFL level.

I'm all for bringing in someone else. Please. Someone besides a circus clown.

There are plenty of guys out there with upside. It's only a matter of time IMO.

If Parcells feels that way then he will make the call but right now we have been at camp less than a week I doubt Henson is in trouble right now

It's not even a week into his 2nd TC. This is Romo's third. If you ask me, neither is exactly challenging Bledsoe anyway.

Parcells said today, BOTH need to show improvement.

I could remind certain people that last year, up until the last two weeks, Romo looked awful, Henson looked much better and EVERYBODY at camp was wondering which vet we were bringing in to replace Romo.

I just find it so ironic that those preaching patience for Carter are writing off Henson, coincidence?
