Do we "need" another L to prep us for the playoff run?

I still can't believe Irvin thinks this and people actually agree with him. But I have a feeling they are agreeing just because who said it.

Losing sucks. We went 4-12 last year. We know what it feels like to lose. Dak has lost big games in college. So has Zeke. Every single player and coach on this team knows what it feels like to lose. Most were on the playoff loss to Green Bay. Dumb to think we need a loss to focus more and ground us. Go win every single game you can. We still haven't wrapped anything up yet. Need to clinch the East and then jockey for seeding in the NFC. Losing should be the last thing on our mind. Especially seeing 2 of our last 5 games are divisional games and the other 2 are NFC games.

Go ask the 2014 team about losing a few games and how that hurt their seeding.

I could see a scenario that causes us to rest players in that last game against the Eagles and taking the L there.
With this Club....I really don't see any big advantage in a loss. This club is smoking hot and l would hate to see a loss of momentum.

You play every game to win. If you lose because of mistakes or lack of intensity, then yes, you learn something, but if you keep winning, you sure don't need that lesson in the playoffs...no one will have a letdown there.

There's a certain contingent out there that thinks we need to learn how to lose and get slapped back to reality in order to be grounded and made ready for the playoffs.

I'm of the opinion that riding this wave right into a Super Bowl appearance wouldn't be too bad at all. Your thoughts?

No, and I wish people would stop talking about it. It's just ridiculous hoping for a loss. Ridiculous.
