Do we need another receiver opposite Dez?

Williams has been disappearing the past few games. I think we need a burner who can actually run routes. Anyone else think we need another playmaker opposite Dez? Williams does not seem to be getting open which really focuses all of the defense to Dez.

Yes, we need a deep speed threat to complete the offense. We could see what Harris has?

Outside of that toe drag, Williams has been a pretty big disappointment. Hopefully just a sophomore slump

What's it going to be then, eh?

If Harris had the speed element, we would have seen it by now.

Williams has a lot to like. I think he is a good worker, blocks well. But he lacks edge and a special quality.

He is a lot like Harper was. Big play here and there but not a player who can take over the game when the number one is getting stifled.

That might be good enough and maybe we are splitting hairs.

Maybe, but I'd like someone who can stretch the defense a bit.

I would like them to give street so more playing time. For his draft spot and upside they should give him 8-10 snaps a game.

Speed would be nice but toughness would be better if it's receiver we target as priority. The things Steve smith and boldin bring to their teams are special. Someone like garcon might be nice if wash can't keep him. He is pretty fed up in wash. Terence Williams seems to be fine but if we tried to upgrade, that's the free agent profile I would seek with Romo only having a couple years left. However, I am d line all the way. Front seven wreckers however we can get them.

I think most teams want that, but it does not always happen.

Most of the time, that speed demon cannot block, has bad hands, etc.

Meh, they can find someone. I mean he doesn't have to be Odell Beckham, just someone to clear out some space for Dez and catch a deep one behind the defense every other game or so.

I also believe we need a speed receiver on the other side. We also need to start throwing to Beasley more, this will create an issue with trying to double Dez and Wit. (I'm not advocating benching Williams, but 4 wide sets could be interesting with a speed demon.

Geez, a couple quiet games from TWill and you guys are jumping ship on the kid? SMH

Gotta find some negativity somewhere, huh

Williams is on pace for 40 receptions and 640 yards (40 yards per game).

Those aren't terrible numbers by any means, however, I'd argue that with Dez seeing double coverage AND team stacking the box to stop Murray that the Cowboys should be targeting him more.

A speedster who can stretch the defense would be nice but is not among my top priorities for improving this team.
