Do we need another receiver opposite Dez?

Cowboys were really interested in Beckham, would have been interesting to see what we would have done there. Would like to see more of Street as well. Best receiver in this years draft is Amari kid of Alabama I believe.

It's almost like we don't know have one of the best offenses and Romo doesn't have the second highest qbr in the league. I don't know why everybody keeps wanting to change what's working.

To answer your question, sure we could improve the number two spot. I just don't think it's near the top of the list in priority.

Yes I said this the last draft and everyone on here jumped on me. If Dez goes down do you feel comfortable with Williams becoming the 1. I'm not. I would like to replace Harris. Get a speedster that can return the ball. Tyler Lockett or Montgomery would be nice adds via the draft.
Wish we would have went after desean jackson.

Don't necessarily need a burner because I would prefer to keep seeing the blocking that Williams is providing. Although Devin Street's blocking is really impressive. I think Romo needs to look for Beasley more often, but the O-Line is so good that it's hard to not take your time and try to find Dez.

Williams has been disappearing the past few games. I think we need a burner who can actually run routes. Anyone else think we need another playmaker opposite Dez? Williams does not seem to be getting open which really focuses all of the defense to Dez.

Williams can't break open consistently, and when he does, he loves to wait on the ball, to land in his chest.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Meh, they can find someone. I mean he doesn't have to be Odell Beckham, just someone to clear out some space for Dez and catch a deep one behind the defense every other game or so.

If it is that simple, why does not every team with a number one WR like Bryant have that speed player that can consistently take the top off a defense?

I am confused, if the question is "can Williams be a #1?", then I have my doubts currently....if the question is "do we need a better #2?", then I don't care....the offense is just fine and if they are going to go after high-end resources in the draft or otherwise, spend it on the defense so that improved play there gives a very good offense more opportunities with the ball

Tate would have been nice. Contract really isnt bad for a #2. Plays outside in 2WR sets and moves to the slot in 3 WR sets with Williams coming in outside.

I wouldnt discount some move this offseason. Just because its not a top priority doesnt mean it wont happen. It all depends on the staff and FO's opinion on his products

Cecil Shorts would be a good add

I think we had some interest in him when he was drafted

I wouldn't say he has disappeared so much as they are trying to get the ball more to Dez and Murray. I suspect he will make a big play or two down the stretch.

I don't think so, Williams has had 1 game with no catches and given the fact the ball goes to Murray most of the time in the running game and Dez is a primary target along with Witten in the passing game. There are only so many chances that Williams will get

To do what? Do what Williams is doing right now?

They're targeting Dez mostly. After that you spread the ball around to Witten, Murray, Duncan, Beasley, Williams. It's not like Williams should be out there catching 10 balls a game. This is a running team. They're going to feed Murray the ball, try to put the ball in Dez hands, after that its simply a game of spreading whats left (Which ain't much by the way) around to everyone else.

Not really he out played dez this year until 2 or 3 weeks ago. Besides that im not happy with street so far I expected more!

Street is a rookie and #5 out of 5 WR's. Can't expect that much, he needs to in the games.
Look who is ahead of him and knows the offense more. Next year he can be #3 easily.

I'm so glad when I wake up, and login, that there are many GM's and experts on this forum.
I am glad they are on here, because that means they are NOT actually running my favorite team.

We are8-3, TWill has made some HUGE catches this year behind a top 5 WR in the NFL, the best TE in the NFL, and oh yeah, we been running the ball too.
But yet, people will create things to whine about.

I don't know about those who do, but my complaint is, why can't the Cheerleaders travel to away games.....

funny how fans waver. before the season people did'nt want beasley, then they wanted harris replaced. yet both a having fine seasons. twill is playing fine but he is not targetted all that often because we are running the ball so much. your 2nd wr in a run offense with good te's and slot guys is not going to get 60 or 70 catches a year guys. he has only beeen targetted 50 times, how many catches do you think he should have

Speed would be nice but toughness would be better if it's receiver we target as priority. The things Steve smith and boldin bring to their teams are special. Someone like garcon might be nice if wash can't keep him. He is pretty fed up in wash. Terence Williams seems to be fine but if we tried to upgrade, that's the free agent profile I would seek with Romo only having a couple years left. However, I am d line all the way. Front seven wreckers however we can get them.

Garcon has disappeared in Washington as of late. He killed me in Fantasy football

Outplayed Dez? That may be the most ridiculous statement I have ever read on here. And there have been some pretty bad ones.

That would be on my wish list, although not near the top.

It starts with defense:

1) Pass rushing end

2) 1-tech defensive tackle

3) Cornerback

4) Do-everything Fullback

5) Speed receiver/kickoff returner

6) Offensive tackle

That list could change if we lose certain players in free agency.
