Do we need Greg Ellis

I doubt many like to listen to Ellis but its mild enough to blandly ignore and goes away before the season starts.

I think it foolish to get rid of the #2 or 3 pass rusher OLB on the team. I think you have to replace him first. And pray tell me where you're going to get near 10 sacks a year for the money he gets. We could get real lucky and find a gem in the draft or UDFAs but I wouldn't count on it.

The only thing you make a point on is the money, but he talks crap just like Owens did. Obviously we didn't need Owens production, we certainly don't need his slow *** in coverage anymore. Plus, Spencer needs to play full time.

Ellis is a liability in pass coverage, and he is slowing down as a pass rusher. Spencer is younger and a better athlete...yes we need someone else but Ellis is not worth the money and constant hand holding.

I say cut Ellis to help the salary cap and the team chemistry. We can pick up someone in the draft and use current players...

Yeah, I think we need Ellis. Spencer has proven nothing other than that he's unreliable (on and off the field) and injury prone. And there's absolutely no depth behind Spencer and Ellis.

But frankly, I'm tired of Grumpy's attitude. Not to mention the fact his play started to slip last year. I'm fairly surprised he's still employed here.

I would have waived him before Roy and TO. 5 million in cap savings? He'd have been gone so fast his whining about it would be drowned out by the screeching tires.

As Wade bring in more of his guys - who will carry out his mission on defense/locker room. Ellis free speech will and has grown tiresome.

For all the talk about 'changing the attitude' around here, there's still one guy who fits the profile.

And I definitely think he still has some trade value.

I'd look to see if the Cowboys bring in someone at the OLB position for a look-see, that would tell me Ellis is leaving town.
