With 5 games to go in the regular season and the NFL landscape this year apparent and the Cowboys almost certainly headed for a playoff berth, I think it's a good time to take your temperature.

How are you feeling? Are you in or out?

Emotionally everybody's in but what does your mind say? Will they make a run? A run being at least an NFCCG appearance. Or is this the same movie with the same ending?

Does this year just feel different?

As much as I want to say yes I believe this year will be different,the pessimist in me says I'll believe it we I see it...that's where I'm at.

Therefore it's a win-win situation! If the Cowboys win, that's awesome!! So what if I lose some money, I'd gladly "pay" to see us win in the post season. And if they lose... well then at least I get some money out of it. Lol.

They are capable of beating any team in the league, and as we the world saw in Minneapolis, can do so convincingly. If they can limit the mistakes, they can go the distance.

What do you call "make a run?" Super Bowl is not in the cards. We go to the playoffs, but I wouldn't take any bets beyond that. I have hopes, but anything beyond that is called wait & see.

I always hope for the best. But if the over under on playoff wins was 1.5, I would bet the under.

I just don't trust this team against someone that can shut down the running game and also run it right down their throat. We always get out physicaled in the playoffs.

And Dak is notorious for his slow starts. You can't win playoff games if it takes more than two quarters to get the offense going

A wild card game in Tampa, which IF Dallas escapes likely followed by a roadie in Philly. Despite out optimistic view of the NFL competition that’s a tough road. So I’m not optimistic.

Win out and get a little help to win the division and I’ll change my tune

I've been disappointed my entire life, no reason to expect anything different. I felt a lot more confident in other years 2016/2014/early Romo years than I do this year and look how they turned out.

I feel really good. A lot of funny things can happen in 5 remaining games looking at the landscape of the NFC and the league overall. In previous years, we tended to fail in step up games (ie Sunday night vs Minn a couple of years ago, last year AZ at home etc). Cooper's 5 game stretch and the loss to GB really taught this team a lot imo.. The destruction of Minn said something to me. That's a 10 win team that had just won @ Buff.. Micah gives me hope. We have a first team all pro widely thought of as one of the leagues best that fuels us.
