How are you feeling? Are you in or out?

Emotionally everybody's in but what does your mind say? Will they make a run? A run being at least an NFCCG appearance. Or is this the same movie with the same ending?

Does this year just feel different?

I will believe when they make the NFC Championship game.

That's not what he said. Plenty of us are skeptical because we've seen this team look good then go nowhere, as recently as last season.

One can be pragmatic and still be a "real" fan. The two are not mutually exclusive. It comes down to one's personality, but we're all fans.

I believe in this team when we don't play two 3 techs together at DT. The inherent weakness of that combo just kills us.

The saddest part is that it's been tried before and has never worked.

Unlike last season, I will be in full rage if and when the Cowboys lose in the playoffs. Because I want to see more. That said, I voted no, it will end as usual because I'm in the show me mode. I am far from expecting anything different. I have to actually see it.

At this point, this is the best team the Cowboys have had since the 90's teams. Tyron Smith coming back will make us even better.

But I dont have any more confidence were going to win a playoff game. Lets see who we are playing and how healthy we are going into the game. Brown is a loss and we dont know how bad Joseph will be. I also went to see how bad this SF rookie QB is.

It's always going to be "show me" with this team until they do, but this year's squad gives me more hope that they can do that than any of the previous post glory days teams have.

Last year felt different. Big hit in the draft, lots of little hits in free agency, lots of rookie contract guys in their contract years. Everybody healthy. Tyron back.
And then we totally laid an egg in the playoffs. At home.

I just don't know about this team. We've got strengths. We've got exploitable weaknesses. A strong run team that *commits* and doesn't turn over the ball will hurt us.

The big win against the Colts was an illusion. The game was up in the air going into the 4th, and they just collapsed. Some of that was us. Once we're ahead and can just rush the passer, we're going to win. We've got the pass rushers.

We can pile on the points when we're ahead. But if we get behind and a team can just run at us, we're gonna get run over.

So, we're just a high variance team. Plenty of potential for being dominating, plenty of potential for being dominated. Which depends on the matchup and events of the day.

This overall team is way better than 2016’s.
2016 caught folks off guard for a year.
This team could win 1-2 playoff games with a Ryan Tannehill like QB…especially vs the devestated NFC this year
Dak is better than that, imo

Gino Smith has a team far worse than ours, yet they might make the playoffs
So yes, I think this total team can win with Dak
