4th was a high price for what he was. However he is still under contract for two years

I think 80-100 catches over two years is pretty good production for a 4th round pick. Will Mingo get that?
I’d be surprised to see him get 25 catches a year. I think that number would actually be high also. He surely couldn’t get that number if all the receivers are healthy.

The only way I see Mingo having any success is if they move him into the slot position. He has a big enough body to help with LBs and DEs while also being a possession-type receiver. But, to answer the original question, no, I don't think he'll ever be worth the fourth that was traded for him. I thought he went at least 2 rounds too early when he was drafted. Hopefully I'm wrong and he turns it around next year.
I’d like to see him concentrate his off-season on TONS of back shoulder passes and TONS fade passes to the corner of the red zone. He has the size to dominate those if he wants to raise his stock.

If he makes the team next year, we've done yet another poor job in the offseason.

No.
Mingo's ceiling is Noah Brown, and Jerry could've signed him in the offseason or traded for him with a 7th rounder, probably.

Hope Mingo becomes something, but I just don't see it.
Give a player a chance.

we need a WR2.

That would be solid production. No way to know if he can do that. A lot will depend on if he can win the WR2 spot. I expect a WR to be drafted so he has to earn it in camp

HUH??? If he makes the team? Of course he will make the team. You don't think he will be among the 6 best WR's in camp this summer? What kind of comment is that?
No. He shouldn't be. Jalen Brooks is better than Mingo. Flourney has more upside. Tolbert is better than Mingo.

I'd turn that around and ask what have you seen that makes you think he should make the team next season?

I don't think so. Especially once we go get another WR in the draft or FA. Because I hope the Cowboys aren't going to try and just have Ceedee and that's it at wr again. Cooks is a free agent who they don't really need to bring back. He didn't work out too well in Dallas and he will be 32. So we will have either Tolbert, Mingo or Flourney fighting for the 2nd and 3rd WR spots. BTW Turp is a RFA this offseason are we going to resign him to keep him after being our only first team all pro? He will be 29 years old and we are cash strapped as Jerry would say. Just like last offseason we have some very important decision to make this offseason. I hope one of the decisions we do make is to cut Terence Steele. There is no way he should be a top 5 paid player on our team next season. Donovan Wilson and Malik Hooker can both exit too. They do absolute nothing on the backend.

Ya'll know whats crazy. Dak's Cap number this coming season (2025) is $89,896,666.

That is bananas.
