Hes just as good as any 4th rounder we would have picked. Anything after the 3rd round is a big crap shoot. Really inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Gotta get out of this bargain shopping mindset. Prioritize high draft picks and spend money in free agency.
4th rounders like Tony Pollard? Jake Ferguson? Tyler Biadaz? We do find guys in round 4 who can play. The 4th is a good round to find glue guys not stars. Mingo is neither.

4th was a high price for what he was. However he is still under contract for two years

I think 80-100 catches over two years is pretty good production for a 4th round pick. Will Mingo get that?
I guess McClay and company really like this guy so there's that... I like the fact that he's not a Smurf, no offense to turpin, but the bigger body WRs are a better fit with Dak.

Maxx Crosby was a 4th. Zamir White, Jack Jones, Drue Tranquill, LJarius Sneed, Shaq Mason, Rhamondre Stephenson, Deatrich Wise, Daquan Jones, Chuba Hubbard, Kirk Cousins, Romeo Doubs, Amon-Ra St Brown. And many others.

Maybe a conditional 6th or 7th
A 4th was silly
how about we get to the 'long run' part of the run before we discuss this TBD incomplete we don't have enough information and just say yes or no is just not good enough your poll needs a maybe or to be determined because that's what most of us think we have no idea what he's going to look like with Prescott or the new offensive coordinator or just simply being in training camp and working with this staff and players around him maybe he gets a little bit better in preseason....

80 - 100 catches in two years, hell he'll be lucky if he catches that many passes in his career!

Mingo is a JAG. He’s only caught 5 passes for 46 yards in the 8 games he’s been with the Cowboys. Granted he’s been playing with a backup QB, but he should’ve produced more than this. He certainly hasn’t provided an upgrade over what we have behind CeeDee. I’m not expecting a whole lot from him next season. Just another wasted 4th round pick.

Way too early to judge, actually looked better with Lance over Rush. Really like to see how he and Dak work together

Dak was a 4th rounder. You can find stars in any round. Kittle was a fifth round pick.
Does the phrase "even a blind squiŕrel" ring a bell?

You seem to be admonishing some for cheŕry picking stats by....cherry picking stats.

We. Can screw up drafts as well as anyone else, maybe better. Doesnt mean we xant crticize them.

"star"? Almost everyone in the league is a star these days so what?

Oh brother.
So you’re satisfied with 5 catches for 46 yards in 8 games for a player we traded a 4th round pick for? He had 12 for 121 in 9 games with Carolina. He hasn’t scored a TD in the two seasons he’s been in the league. We gave up too much for him.

What a clusterfudge. A complete olio that makes no sense.
