Blazing Saddles

Ding Ding Ding.

Bubba Ho-Tep kills me...cracks me up but man overall it is a bad one.

Saw some other one with him where people from a small town come and get him to help them with a monster. Can not remember the name of it...bad bad movie but still he cracks me up.

UHF has some very funny scenes.

It is like they just had a bunch of ideas for some funny skits and just used the TV channel thing to tie them together.

Wheel of Fish
Drink from the fire hose
Raul's Wild Kingdom

Funny stuff.

Better off Dead and one crazy summer have some of the same characters and the same type of animation background going.

One crazy summer also has a younger, and less known at the time, demi moore.

I am trying to remember it. The name sounds familiar, but I cannot recall the movie. Another bad John Cusack one of that era was "The Sure Thing." Loved that movie.

What did I like about the movie?

Absolutely gorgeous and 100% nude alien psychic vampire woman stalks victims throughout England's countryside and London... the ENTIRE movie.

Starship Troopers

What did I like about the movie?

The pure silliness behind battling giant alien insects on their home planets. Why not [strike]spray Raiid[/strike] nuke 'em from orbit??? :D And ... Umm ... Dina Meyer. ;) Plus, I'm a Michael Ironside fan. Most of his movies are stupid, but I like his acting style. Sue me. :laugh1:

Just for selfish reasons, I hope no one mentions Flash Gordon. It is my all-time favorite B-movie! It is not so much a bad movie than it intentionally lampoons itself. Plus, Brian Blessed has the BEST lines in it:

"Impetuous boy!!!

Oh well.

Who wants to live forever?!

Hahahahahahaha!

DIVE!!!"

Plus, the soundtrack by Queen is killa.

Yeah I catch myself watching when it comes on.

It's funny because it seems like they spent the whole budget on wardrobe but forgot to save some money for special effects.

The sound track rocks as well.

This is one of those old movies that I would like to see them do a remake of with better effects and things.

I mean the hawkmen flying with those cheesy wings and the bad space ships ...:laugh2:

The only good thing about that movie is the fight scene with Keith David. When Roddy suplexes him I nearly lost it. :laugh2:

If so, why do you like it?

I like Red Dawn. I like everything about the movie and in truth it is really dumb. From Cuba and Russia being able to get paratroopers all the way to Colorado to the propoganda all the way through the movie it is ridiculous. But dang it is just an awesome bad movie.

My favorite part? C. Thomas Howell being told by Powers Boothe that all his hate will burn him up as he carves notches on the butt of his shotgun for the enemy he has killed. He replies, "keeps me warm."

Cracks me up every time.

So, what is yours?

Red Dawn is too good to be listed as a bad movie!!

By the way, the remake was supposed to be out around thanksgiving but the studio went bankrupt and ceased post production. I am not sure where it stands right now. I am looking for too it.

I have a ton of movies that fall into this category.

A couple of my favorites are Over The Top, I love stallone and the soundtrack to that, The Last dragon...Absolutely love the movie. I enjoy any martial arts movie....

i could go on and on..

I remember seeing one of those HBO First Looks or something similar way back when. Everything was done by design--costumes, props, sets, everything. Seriously, that was the producer's and director's intentions--to make a lampoon of the old Flash serials. That's what gives it great appeal for me.

Oh! Another one! Reign Of Fire, I think. 1981 or somewhere around there.

Why did I like it?

Prehistoric mating practices. And Rae Dawn Chong. Yeah. Keep suing me. :laugh1:
