Ding Ding Ding.

Bubba Ho-Tep kills me...cracks me up but man overall it is a bad one.

Saw some other one with him where people from a small town come and get him to help them with a monster. Can not remember the name of it...bad bad movie but still he cracks me up.

My wife brought that movie home and she has never lived it down. It is hands down the worst movie I have ever watched. I love Bruce Campbell and I never chuckled once.

Easy. Basket Case.

A young man carrying a big basket that contains his deformed Siamese-twin brother seeks vengeance on the doctors who separated them against their will.

A bevy of 80's movies...

Iron Eagle
Hotdog the movie
Summer School
Better off Dead
One Crazy Summer
The Michael J Fox movies (not counting Back the future)
Real Genius
Police Academy
The last starfighter
Ladyhawke
The Reanimator
Cemetery Man
Big Trouble in Little China
Ice Pirates
The Last Dragon..>Sho Nuff

There are some seriously awesome movies in this list.

Red Dawn is one of the best ever....i spent countless days playing as Robbie (C. Thomas Howell's character) during our war games. I loved wearing the bandana.

I don't think Goonies is a bad movie, but some might.....and if that's the case, I think it might top my list. Probably my single favorite movie from that era.

Also...another favorite. Willow. Simply awesome. Young Val Kilmer and a bunch of midgets running around with swords. The hot princess didn't hurt either.

Top Secret makes the list...speaking of Kilmer. So does "Real Genius".

Hell Comes to Frog Town (Rowdy Roddy Piper)

Once meet Rowdy Roddy Piper outside a 7-11 in Albuqerque New Mexico when I was in HS. He was pretty cool. We asked him to buy us some beer, he told us to get jobs and gave us tickets to the matches.

:laugh2:

He was cool.

Here are a couple of mine. Going sports related here:

The Replacements - Not a great movie but I can't seem to not watch it every time it's on.

Major League - Unrealistic scenario in how a professional baseball team is handled but it's pretty funny so.....

Necessary Roughness - 30 something year old QB together with Sinbad, a Professor turned player along with a lot of other things, not very realistic but Manumana, Featherstone and a young Kathy Ireland as the "Hawt" place kicker is enough for me.

The Water Boy - Again, totally unrealistic but who care? Bobby Boucher........ nuff said.

Now that I think of it, Weekend at Bernie's is a terribly unrealistic and has a lot of poor acting, but I love watching it.

This movie cracks me up. Stapling his toupe' back on always has me laughing.

Okay, I'm going to shock my fellow John Wayne fans and pick one of his.

Rio Lobo.

Howard Hawks struck gold with the storyline of Rio Bravo and made a great movie. Seven years later he tweaked the story a little and pulled it off again as El Dorado. Still a great movie. 5 years later he tried it a third time with Rio Lobo and it just doesn't work.

I love the movie. It was filmed here in Tucson (all of them were) and I know a guy who had a bit part in it. The dialog is terrible. I mean downright ignorant at times.

Why do I like it? Well, it's a John Wayne western and it has pretty girls. Beyond that, it just isn't a good movie. But when it comes on I have to watch it.

True story, my wife is not a John Wayne fan at all. One time she decided to join me and watch this movie. Her frequent comment was "oh brother." She nailed it.

For instance, Pierre Cardona crashes in on a partially dressed Mexican girl, who not only is not screaming and freaked out, she finishes dressing reluctantly, and she invites him to stay and eat some beans and tortillas. The whole scene is downright roll your eyes to heaven stupid, but I love it.

The only good thing about that movie is the fight scene with Keith David. When Roddy suplexes him I nearly lost it. :laugh2:

I love Real Genius. Val is the ultimate smartarse. :laugh2:

Nobody will watch it with me when it comes on, because I absolutely cannot stop myself from saying the dialog along with the characters. I'm the same with RoadHouse and PCU.

Favorite Real Genius quote:

Chris Knight: So, if there's anything I can do for you, or, more to the point, to you, you just let me know.
Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your *****?
Chris Knight: Not right now.
Susan: A girl's gotta have her standards.

Damn, thats a blast from the past. I"m not sure I've even thought about that movie in 10 years! RIP John Ritter. He definitely died too young.

I know the Star Wars prequels are bashed mercilessly, but Revenge of the Sith was pretty watchable.
