I'd be more comfortable with a second round pick added somewhere to the OL. Two things to remember, though: 1. TO is a weapon to slow down blitzing off the edge, and 2. the best thing about this new line is its versatility. Every player on the line other than AJ can play multiple positions. IMHO, it's so much harder (and expensive) to build quality depth behind each OL position than it is to spend enough money to have seven starting-quality players and 3 developmental guys in a rotation.

That was the motivating factor behind all of our OL moves this offseason.

Although I would still like some more RELIABLE depth...but I do think we will be fine for THIS YEAR.

I cant imagine parcells, a guy who loves to run the ball, going through another season like last year due to poor offensive line play. So, im beleiving he will do whats necessary to put together a good group.

If not, people will definitely be calling for his head, and i'll be jumping on that bandwagon.

This is an average line, maybe.

And it's gotta be better than average to protect Bledsoe.

Owens will help this line more than Fabini or Kozier...he'll help open up the running game, so play action will work better...and with play action working better, the defense won't be able to t off on Bledsoe.

But this isn't a good line, IMO.

I just heard SPagnola Say that Fabini might not even be a Starter, he said he's a "possible starter", or a backup just in case Pettiti doesnt develop:banghead: YOu know what the Jets Fans call Fabini?-They call him " "Fall start 69"..WOW You GO Fabini, you're the man. Yea right! .. Then you have Mr. Broken back Rivera and Little man Johnson...Come on man I'm not happy with this line at all. And you can flame me all you want, I can say what ever I please so W/E.

If Bledsoe has no time to pass and JJ has no room to run I'll know why......What-ever like NICk Eatman always says, " IT IS WHAT IT IS".

And yes I'm pist can you tell? http://img95.*************/img95/553/heyyoubycamikaze0ug.gif

I agree with you....minus LA.......and no sexy pick ups in FA.....I hope we draft two stud lineman.....it will be tough!

The O-line was descent at the begining of last year. Starting a rookie RT, Pettiti and the injury to Flozel showed how little depth the Cowboys actually had.

BP and JJ have tweeked the OL, brought in depth. versatile players who can backup or start if needed.

Bye not signing big names on the OL, its signals that the coaches think they can get it done with what they had, plus added depth.

Don't think you will see many changes to the starting lineup just a better rotation next year. T.O. will also make the OL look better.
