Do you Still have Faith in McCarthy?

For me at least, it is hard to turn on any coach in their first year under normal circumstances.

But MM has had anything but normal circumstances with everything outside of football going on. I will say, at least it looks like at least some players got benched for not performing well. Maybe not enough people could be benched that should have been, but at least someone did. So that is a positive to me.

MM is a carbon copy of Jason Garrett.

When his fat *** let Seattle run 40 seconds off the clock by pretending to punt at the end of the half, I think every single person watching including Troy was thinking here we go again...poor game management by a Cowboys head coach.

Just a reminder: MM doesnt call plays on offense, doesnt do anything with the defense, and isn't a special teams coach. He's literally a bad game manager and nothing else. He's JG.

Until this team gets serious about defense this is what to expect:

Shoot out games where any mistake on offense is doom because the defense sure isn't going to bail them out.

31 wasn't enough to win this week, 38 wouldn't have been enough last week.

Its better than Rob Marineli's defense.....like what we are seeing on the DL...but the CB/S are horrible....at least Nolan made half time adjustments that cleaned up some issues on the backfield. Not perfect, but better than the 1st half.

No preseason so I get some of the sloppy play but we’re in week 3 and it hasn’t improved. Not even Wade’s teams were this undisciplined.

Why must we always sign these washed up Coaches?

Is it impossible for us to sign a Coach with Potential instead of a Coach who has already reached the peak of his career and is on the downside of it...

McCarthy & Nolan are both Has-Been’s.

Moore is also average Offensive Coordinator. He has incredible talent to play with in our Offense. But still finds a way to screw up. Dak makes him look way better than he actually is.
That's exactly what Garrett was, an inexperienced coach with potential. 1st 3 games, no OTA, no preseason. I still love MM, I just wished he took over the play calling.

the mistakes im seeing have nothing to do with coaching...in my opinion.
its execution...or lack there of...and points at no real off-season.
we weather the early storm...we could make a run in november/december.
i think mccarthy is why we've had chances late to win these games.
not the case under garrett and his bunch.

It’s game 3. Calm down.

The fact that it’s only been 3Games this season would be Understandable. But this feels exactly like every other season the past few years. Fans try to stay optimistic even though the performance on the field has been atrocious at times.

Like this Defense... It’s actually impressive how consistently disappointing it can be year in & year out. No Turnover’s, No Stops to Win Games, No Constant QB Pressure...

The Bills, 49er’s, Panthers, Broncos and a couple of other teams have managed to go from one of the Worst Defenses to Putting together amazing Top5 Defense in the same timespan. While we Constantly circle the Wagon.

The Offense does just enough to keep us on the Edge of Hope&Despair. Demolish the bad Teams, Don’t show up until the 2nd Half vs Good Teams when we’re already down by a decent amount of points.

The thing that gives me the slightest amount of hope were the changes made during the game to the o line. Wholesale changes. Not plug in another guy and hope for the best. Move your all pro rg to rt. Slide your c over to rg and insert rookie c into the game seemed to pay dividends. Not sure if that was a contingency plan that was worked on. I still question some of the decisions made to fake punts and go for 2 at times. The defense is horrible and won't get better anytime soon. There just aren't any play makers out side of Aldon Smith. Safety play has been Mia for a looooong time and at some point it has to be addressed.

Sorry but count me as someone who thinks that things turned around especially in the second half, on the road against a superior opponent. Let's make no mistake...Seattle and their ownership are SUPERIOR to the Jones family....BY FAR. LOL...

Prefer a College Coach or NFL Coach with the experience & Potential. Sign a coach like most others do. Someone off a currently High Performing College or NFL Team. It’s a proven method that works.

Yes. I do. As I’ve stated before...In this crazy season a new coach definitely gets a mulligan year with me. I still like big Mike.
