Child, Im not talking about their career. Im talking about their prime.EveryoneElse;2506716 said:I don't know what your beef is. I have acknowledged that Michael is a great WR, I am just saying that his stats aren't what TOs are, and he has a very valid excuse, he wasn't in a pass happy offense, I get that.
And bye the way, Michaels numbers aren't close to TOs on yards and receptions either.
Michael had 750 catches for 11,904 yards and 65 tds. Thats nearly 200 less catches, 2000 less yards and 73 less tds.
Again, I am not saying that Irvin was not as good or better than TO as far as talent goes, but the numbers don't stack up, and thats all some of these idiots that vote look at, otherwise, Michael would have been first ballot. Just like TO deserves to be. Theres no telling what mike Irvin may have done in a pass happy offense, he may have murdered Jerry Rice's numbers, but that isn't relevant in this topic, imo.
I always said Marvin shouldnt be in the T.O. and Moss conversation cause he often disappeared in the playoffs. I think the only time he went over 100 yards or had a TD happened once and were both in the same game. You cant even compare him and Reggie's numbers.joseephuss said:Randy Moss
