The only coach that can help the Dallas Cowboys is one that believes in more Dual slot wr and rb formations on passing downs. This te core has no SAUCE. BLAKE JARWIN AND JASON WITTEN CANNOT LEAD A DUAL TE PASSING OFFENSE TO A CHAMPIONSHIP.

Lets see more Tavon Austin in dual slot wr formations and more Tony Pollard in dual running back formations and cut back the passing involvement with the non scoring tes who can only catch wide open checkdown passes against our scrub Division rivals.

We cant score beans with these tes so the scheme needs an Overhaul and Garrett and Jerry are trying to sell their te koolaide reguardless of the talent at the position. Too bad we couldnt have kept little beasely and picked up Cobb and ran a spread offense on occasion.

Mahomes couldnt win with these tes either. The biggest position of need is te going on 6 straight years based upon our scheme according to the experts and jerry says why do we need to do that when we have the highest scoring Te passing scheme in League history. Thats why we have all those PLAYOFF VICTORIES. ALL THAT SCORING. ALL OF THOSE GAMECHANGING PLAYS. WATCHING ANYBODYS TES BESIDES OURS FOR 6 YEARS.

Honestly I can't believe 11 people here want to extend Jason Garrett? Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but that just blows my mind that after 10 seasons you think something can change with him? Or is it maybe you're under the impression it doesn't matter who it is with a toxic owner like we have? That I can probably understand

There is no shortage of the mentally infirm

If I thought firing him now would spark them I would be all for it, but there isn't anyone. The defense sure as hell isn't playing for anyone...they bend over for every offense there is. Come on...Detroit, Buffalo? These dogs have no pride and there isn't anyone on the staff inspiring them.

What difference does it make then? Aside from sending the message things gotta change...in a BIG way. Or are you expecting that in the next few games?

Thats why I voted no. I want him gone as much as anyone, but there is still a slight chance that we make the play offs. I don't have any more confidence in any of the assistants than I do in Garrett. They all need to be gone.

If Garret sucks as much as you think he does...if all the coaches suck as much as you think they do...then what difference does it make? Are we 6-6 because or in spite of them?

I'm guessing your best case scenario is a trip to the playoffs and one and done? So start NOW...let the players finish it up, like they've been doing so far. Get the process started.

Just to be clear...I've never been a Garret hater. And in fact I've been critical of self-proclaimed "clever" fans and their "redball" and "clapper" insults. We could still maintain SOME measure of class and dignity....too much to ask, I guess.

Read this in an article about USC and Clay Helton and this line really stood out...

If you’re going to make a coaching change eventually, you make the coaching change immediately.

Garrett has been a victim of Jerry Jones for more than 10 years,

Jerry has garbage surrounding everyone at the dallas complex . Jerry destroys & humiliates Jason Garrett every week .

Garrett will finally get his respect at New York . He is too talented to waste his talents here, with Jerry .

If what you say is accepted as true, that still has zero bearing/influence on his in-game decisions...which I think is most people's issue with him.

He will not be fired, he will not be extended by mutual agreement and that has been in place for some time. It serves no purpose to fire him now, play this hand out.

*IF* Dallas hires a new HC, I hope that HC is allowed to hire his own staff and isn't forced to use a staff that Jerry picks out for them...

Garrett suffers everyday , he doesn't have a say in staff decisions , he is abused by Jerry everyday .

Its insane the amount of abuse and micromanagement that jerry does , he controls every aspect of the coaching staff, the front office, the 120 pizza restaurants, the hydration manager,

jerry even inflates the game balls himself ... he is that possessive .

poor jason garrett, he gets abused .

Not entirely true. JG wanted Callahan out and Linehan in......... and got his wish. Don't feel bad for him. He could have walked away numerous times but chose the paycheck over his own dignity and reputation.

Let's not!
Austin never lived up to his billing with the Cowboys, which is the same issue he had as a member of the Rams for his first five years in the league. Last season, Dallas paid him $3 million according to OverTheCap.com.

Austin would record just eight receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns as injuries limited him to seven games.

...Might as well let Garrett play the season out...He's not under contract after that...So technically JJ won't have to "fire" him...He just won't renew JGs contract...let him walk...I just hope JJ brings in someone that can finally get the job done!...The Boys have a talented team, and I'd hate to see it go to waste again ...as in the past!

I think I like JG as a person. Seems like a decent person, but I think it's time to move on.
