You never know. They may sign a veteran quarterback off his couch that most of the league wrote off and next thing you know they start winning games.

It's way too early in the year for any team to give up yet.
They won last week.

HELL NO!!!! , why do someone always ask this dumb question?! No one wants to sit for 17/15/16/14/13 weeks being pissed off watching your team lose games, that's just plain idiocy!!! Because you want the first pick in the draft or a top 10 pick, when they are more of a crap shoot than any other pick later on in the draft.

I don't think we need to tank. Epic failure this season could come naturally.

Yep, he really has another goal with a thread like this - he's setting people up so he can unleash his insults and hater-aid.

Many of you have stated for the team to tank so it will be an easy answer for you.

Me? Hell no.
They don't have to tank
They aren't going to win, regardless.
They have been tanking for 17 years and are too dumb to realize it.
Jerry finished them off right before the first game of the season with the contract tract that I hope bankrupts him.

There's no point in tanking now that Dak has been resigned. If Jerry had a pair he would have made Dak earn his pay, but nope, he rewarded Dak for mediocrity. I wish I could get a big raise like that after having just having the worst day of my career.

Exactly.
The real Dallas Cowboys no longer exist.

The cowboys won’t deliberately tank but it’s clear this is a lost season.

It's ugly and it sucks for a while but I do think tanking can work if it's done right. The method starts with trading most of, or all your big talent. The Cowboys can't do that with the current player contracts and even if they could Jerry would have to admit his mistakes, which will never happen. It's just not in the cards. The bed is made.

Rock wants to call it tanking but the truth is that re-signing Dak ensured that the Cowboys weren't going to rise again anytime soon.
This is who they are now.

We already tank.

This and maybe next season is a planned rebuilding phase. Players and coaches know this.
