The only and last time I cried for the Cowboys was when they lost to the Steelers in Super Bowl XII (1979).

Now I let the wife do all *****ing when they lose!

Some examples of the wide variety of emotional responses over the years:

2. The catch

Screaming like a maniac
1. Roy Williams pick six versus the Eagles in 2005
2. Walker’s winning TD run versus the Pats in 1987
3. Emmitt’s first TD of the second half in Super Bowl 28
Rage and destruction of items
1. The 1982 NFC championship loss versus the Commanders
2. The 1984 home loss to the Commanders
3. The 1995 home loss to the 49ers
Sleeplessness while mentally reviewing the game or play
1. TO’s drop of a sure touchdown in 2006 versus the Commanders
2. Romo’s first game versus the Giants in 2006
3. 1994 NFC championship loss versus the 49ers

That moment right there solidified what type of person Emmitt was, i mean we all knew he was a good guy, but he made it his purpose to Moose and he let his emotions and tears flow and did not care. I shed lots of tears of joys that nite.

I can get emotional over wars, 100-year floods, a birth, a death, someone taking the last piece of chipotle-infused quail.

Anybody who cries over a game needs immediate counseling for some deep-seated problems manifesting from endocrine and cerebral tissue and mommy-void issues.

IT'S A GAME, YOU BIG CRYBABIES.
ENJOY IT, DON'T CRY OVER IT!!!!!

I used to cry about losses when I was younger. Even regular season losses I was getting ready to cry lol.

But once I got older and went through the 5-11 seasons it became a rage and anger. Now I just get really really pist off. I mean I really ger mad:mad:

I did as well after that game.

Now I just throw things. I have gotten very good at putting remote controls back together.

I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

Why anyone, especially a grown man/woman would cry over a stupid football game is beyond me! Where is Dr. Phil when we need him?

Funny, that seems to be the only thing people like you can think of to insult me. Your lameness knows no bounds.

My dear and esteemed fellower Zoner. That was NO insult.
Anyone with an avatar of a unicorn is A-OK with me. That untuits that you are sensitive and probably write poetry about unicorns. And many tears after you write your poetry or cry over a game is nothing to be ashamed of. It just just shows you care.
If anybody tries to insult you over that, pm me and I will deal with the miscreant.
Send me your poetry if time permits and keep up those great posts!

I do. I find myself watching HK, preseason games, regular season games, highlights, etc and I end up getting teary eyed. I was born and raised in the Dallas area, lived there my whole life, I feel like I have some sort of connection to the team. Last year I cried when we lost to the stupid Giants. I cried when I saw TO crying defending Romo.

Anyone else?

I get pissed off when they play like **** and if they lose I am in a mood for at least 3 days...

If its to the Egals or Giants , I am in a mood for at least 5 days...

Me too man me too. I'm not ashamed one bit either. I LOVE my Cowboys. I don't even live in Dallas but I feel like if there is one thing that I could count on being there for me throughout the past 21 years it has been my boys.
Man just watching HK.. When Garrett said " I used to sit here last year and try to rationalize.ok they had 8 in the box..or we tried are best..f*** that, not this year.." that sent shivers down my back... Seeing Romo after the Seattle game, Owens after the Giants game defending his QB like a real man..when they show emotion like that it kinda makes you realize they're not so different from us. I watch the every game with the same friend every time because we just feel like it would be wrong not too. Sorry to write so much, but this is by far my favorite thread so far. HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS

Oh look, more creative jibberish from gimme. I'm shocked. I'm sorry your intimidated by unicorns...it'll be ok, I promise.

Funny you mention poetry, as you've obviously studied it in your creative writing endeavors over the years. How's that going, by the way? Is that head wound holding you back from publishing anything that people don't think is written by an abused child? Funny though, that a self proclaimed 'smart (and good looking) guy constantly uses horrid grammar...or is that 'OK' for literary 'geniuses' like yourself?

...and for the record, I'm not one of the posters that's crying over games so 'shtick' it up your ***.

...but please continue elevating yourself over the members of this forum. I'm sure everyone appreciates you for it. It's a great contribution.

Is this teary-eyed? Or straight up sobbing like a little girl? If the latter, I'd get that checked.

The 3 Super Bowls wins I've witnessed in my lifetime, yea a little teary-eyed. Emmitt breaking the rushing record, same thing. Losing though, never. To me, losing is not failure, it's growing.

When your kid falls on it's face learning how to walk, do you cry? Well why not, he just failed in a monumental fashion. People might have even seen your kid that just can't figure out this walking thing. Just a total failure. Walking, what everybody does, but why not your kid? Well dry the teary eyes, you have nothing to worry about- and eventually he'll even be running before you know it.

Just like everything else, football is a process. Miracles won't happen over night. Gotta learn how to walk before we can run, let alone win a Super Bowl. Me, I'm proud for my boys going out there, giving their entire hearts and trying. And I have faith that they're going to make me even more proud one day very soon. The fact that they're trying and not giving up is everything.
