I do. I find myself watching HK, preseason games, regular season games, highlights, etc and I end up getting teary eyed. I was born and raised in the Dallas area, lived there my whole life, I feel like I have some sort of connection to the team. Last year I cried when we lost to the stupid Giants. I cried when I saw TO crying defending Romo.

Anyone else?

Isn't this thread kind of effete?

I have to admit I have a little giddy going about this year, though.:

Wll, I did run out in the driveway and scream my head off after the Buffalo win last year. Thankfully, I live in the woods and no one heard me.

I little of column A and a little of column B.

For big moments, yes I get teary eyed. When they won Superbowls, when Emmitt broke the record, when Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Woodson all had to retire. Those kind of things make me teary eyed.
Same here! The games themselves don't bring tears, just extreme joy or pain, but moments like BHF mentioned often get to me.

I woke up my whole house (probably my whole neighborhood) at the end of that game! A close second was that game in Philly a few years ago when we came back from the dead in the last few minutes w/ Roy sealing the deal w/ his pick six! Those types of games makes me an insomniac b/c I cannot sleep afterwards!!!

I don't get emotional, but the Cowboys remind me of family and good times. I grew up in a family of Cowboy lovers and we lived in NJ- Giants territory. We had a lot of good rivalries between certain family members who are Giants fans.

Threw a $300 vacuum through a wall once...over a bad call in the first quarter. We won the game.

I pouted so much one time...when we were down by ten at the half, I couldn't watch anymore and turned it off. The girl that I was dating at the time was feeling frisky and tried to start a little sum'n sum'n....but she got up all pissed off because she could tell that I was just going through the motions. She turned the TV back on so I would stop being a baby, and we were up by a touchdown.

So, yeah, the Cowboys are more important to me than money or sex. I get a little emotional. The only thing comparable is the love for my dog.

I used to cry when I was a kid, got butterflies before big games during the Jimmy years, and now I'm dead inside.

I scream like a banshee and curse like a sailor. I do this whether we are winning or losing.

I get real depressed after a loss I cant even come and check CZ for the week. I dont get to high on a win unless its playoffs and the only time my eyes water is during HOF inductions and retirements.

Well us Russians get emotional over everything. But seriously, when I was a little kid I was ridiculously emotional over the 'Boys, I almost had a nervous breakdown after the '94 NFC title game. Now I just get upset but not overly emotional. Though when Emmit hugged embraced Moose after he broke the record I became very teary eyed and fought back the tears.
