Does anyone else get frustrated watching other teams offenses?

Or is it just me? When I see all the innovation and risk taking by other teams, it just makes me all the more frustrated with Jason Garrett. I'm watching the Steelers game right now and they are spreading out Seattle and throwing the ball all over the field. Ben threw 19 passes in the first quarter and then they went for a two point conversion (which they made) when the extra point would have put them up by 3. They run RB screens, throw WR screens on many first downs and usually pick up 7-8 yards, They use play action passes, pick plays and throw deep 6-7 times a game.

I grew up a huge Tom Landry fan and absolutey loved his Belichick like innnovation. This vanilla scheme that we run is driving me nuts. Why do we have to be stuck in the 90's?

Yes the Cowboys still subscribe to the "our guys will beat your guys garbage", except of course if our best guys are hurt than it's just garbage.

Watch some of the innovative ways the Bengals, yes, the Bengals move the ball, get it to different players.
Look at some of their formations. Look how the throw it downfield.

Yes, get frustrated.

so does anyone know why jason garrett still subscribes to this vanilla offense that we have? why go with it when we don't see any evidence of it working in the nfl? sure it worked in the 90s. i guess it could still work if our guys out execute their guys (like last season). but a lot of things have to go right for it to work. like for one our main players not getting injuried out.

That's the thing, you don't have to redo the play book. Just add some routes to it that don't send your best players to the same spot on the field over and over. It's simple.

you know how pathetic this offensive system is by just looking at Dez,he is a weapon but we dont use him as one.We need to create formations where he can get open in space and use his strength to get some Yac but he runs mostly runs Go routes and screens.what a waste for a 70 million dollar man.

The problem is, with Romo it has worked just well enough.

And if he's not smart enough to understand new routes why pay him that cash?

Yes I do. I have the have hardest time watching the Giants. I think they are a very boring team to watch. Maybe it is because where I grew up they were on all the time.

a screen would be against the Skins last year where he scored a TD and we never ran that play again.

I was going to say I think it was the finger tip catch against the skin where Dez made one of the plays of the year... And then nowhere to been seen after that. Just s complete joke. Can't stand the red headed bafoon and his bland system
