Just heard some news on it and it occurred to me that there's been very little talk about it on this board. Does anyone even care?

That doesn't count wing joints and sports bars, but I wouldn't mind a bit if they cancel the season tomorrow. I figured it out last year, how much a Spurs game costs us, and its been pretty accurate this season.
A weekday away game, $1000 in sales. A weekday home game, $2000 or more. Weekend away game, $2000 to $3000. Weekend home game against someone like a major draw Miami or Lakers, $3000 to $5000 or more. So you take that and multiply that by 18% and that tells you how much my staff is loving no NBA games.
Long live the lockout!

I would be ok with the NFL and a full season of baseball and playoffs. No other sports necessary.

The NBA could shut down for years and I wouldn't miss it all that much. It's be the easiest of the 4 major sports to do without for me.
