Yes we get it. We're a bunch of knuckle dragging numbskulls who are extremely lucky to have you show us the foolishness of our ways.

I think you mean the average packers fan is at the moment far more interested. I can guarantee most fans are sick of the constant farvra talk. If there not going to show classic games like they are scheduled to do they should show preseason camp news. I have seen more Packers classic games on the NFL network in the past 2 months than I care to count

While you have them on the phone let them know it would be nice if they added a few shows worth watching. How about a show that actually talks about more then 3 or 4 teams or I dont know an actual look at the training camp battles, matchups and offseason moves.

I will say this. While I don't particularly care one way or another about the Cowboys-Vikes, the Favre coverage has gotten to be ridiculous.

I thought the T.O. overdose coverage was ridiculous, but the level of the Favre coverage has gone way past that.

A little variety in the coverage wouldn't hurt, at all.

uh, no. Favre just went to the biggest market in the U.S. You don't think that NY fans are eating this stuff up?

Ok Packer-Jets fans care..still the favra saga has been going on almost 24 hours a day 7 days a week with Packer classic games thrown in. I'm not saying I wanted to see the Boys-Viking games since I'm at work but this coverage is to much

Farve is loving this drama and all the attention he's getting from the media. If he had known better, he'd have done this every since starting in 2000. ha ha

whereas only a couple of unemployed Cowboys fans care about the replay. Ya see how an NFL station is going to focus on what more people will watch?

The part about this that I find funny is that the Cowboys can not have there own network and channel, even if the Cowboys pay for it themselves, because they are part of the NFL and the NFL has a network for all teams. They should have just called it the BF Channel. If it were not for the couple of games the Cowboys always seem to play on the NFL channel, I would not have it at all.

I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of it all together.

and the personal attacks on Cowboys fans keep on coming. How in the hell do you know who is or is not unemployed? (I am employed, btw)

Newsflash: Some people work untraditional hours.

No kidding. I'm seriously tired of watching Brett Favre. I like the guy, as a player, but enough is enough. You would think the Football started with Brett Favre.

Funny, he's not even the best QB the Packers have ever had IMO. Oh well.

I didn't intend to step in, but you're being such a prick about this whole thing, that I feel obligated to show the obvious flaws in your 'logic" to your contrarian persona.

(a) Television market =/= NFL Network's market. It's a niche channel - targeting football fans.

(b) The Dallas Cowboys have the largest fan base of any NFL team in the world.

(c) Therefore, the Dallas Cowboys fans are the biggest television audience targeted by the NFL Network.

(d) If they are unemployed Cowboys fans, it would follow that they are unemployed Packer and Jets fans. Unnecessary dig. Also stupid. So, double unnecessary.

(e) Quit being a prick.

Good day.

The Cowboys fans DO have the largest fan base -- if this were an issue of something happening NOW with Dallas it would be no contest -- but we are talking about showing a "classic" game vs. programming relevant to a major trade that happened TODAY.

There is obviously going to be more interest among NFL fans in something current like this.

The network is going to do whatever it can to target fans of all teams -- that is far more profitable than targeting fans of just one team. The last thing NFLN wants is someone turning to the station, hoping to learn about something that JUST happened, and find a classic game on. That would immediately lead the fan to think "well, I guess NFLN isn't somewhere to go for current information."

Those classic games are there to fill when nothing else is going on. And there is clearly something else going on today that many fans want to know about.

I think, in general, he's get too much credit. I'd rather have Marino, Elway, Payton Manning, Montana, Unitas, Roger, Troy and probably several others if i think about it as my QB.

I guess my biggest gripe is that they don't understand that we all don't sit around all day watching their network. That is, if we want to see something they advertise we usually have to set a recorder. If they change the time around, for example someone said 3:30 today, I can't drive home and reset it to record that. If their schedule means nothing then why do they post it? If their advertising means nothing, then why advertise your viewing schedule?

The trade is over and done. We don't need to see him arriving in a plane to NYC. We all know where he is going, what he is going to do, and we are ALL tired of it. This news is not so BREAKING any more. So, I too would like to see the classic replay. And maybe you get off your *** high horse.

For some of us, it's showing something BESIDES Brett Favre coverage. Yeah there are those who want to see a classic game, but I bet there are alot more fans, non-Cowboy fans included, who'd rather catch something about their favorite NFL team rather than another yawn-inducing Favre update.

Seriously, tell me how important is it to replay the same vid of him and his wife stepping off the charter in GB or driving off in an Escalade (which was nice, BTW) when they left the facility. How important to show replays of the same analysis of how/why it fell apart in GB. Please explain how the replays even in the middle of the night is current news...when the actual event occurred 10 hours ago.

It's one thing to appear unbiased and fair, abs, but let's not get ridiculous. There's alot more going on in the NFL than the Favre-GB saga and it doesn't have to be Cowboys-related for me to be interested.

For the past week or so, every sports news station has tortured us literally with minute-by-minute updates of nothing. I could not understand how I turn to ESPNEWS and they're showing a reporter discussing the fact that he and McCarthy were having a meeting. Said meeting lasted 5 hours and yet ESPNEWS provided 30 min updates of the fact that there was no update. That's ridiculous to me.

You want to see your replay -- but my guess is that there are tons of NYC fans who want to learn all they can about Favre -- face it - he's the hot story right now - that's why he's on. The last thing NFLN wants to be is another ESPN Classic - they are going to favor fresh stuff over classics whenever they can.
