Does anyone see a problem with Thursday Night Football?

Every week it has been a blowout (the home team has won 4 out of 5 weeks)

Week 1: Seattle 36, Green Bay 16
Week 2: Ravens 26, Steelers 6
Week 3: Falcons 56, Tampa Bay 14
Week 4: Giants 45, Commanders14
Week 5: Packers 42, Vikings 10 (in 4th quarter)

Average score: 41-12

I don't think this is the product the NFL wanted to showcase (or maybe it doesn't matter if we are tuning in anyway)

Trying to figure out why you put the resins in bold...

Fortunately for us our thursday night game while being an away game comes off of a thursday thanksgiving day game. Meaning we'll have a full week to prepare. We also have a bye week after going to london.

We have a short week to prepare for Arizona after a monday night game, but it is a home game.

The only problem on our schedule is @Seattle and I guess you could argue that @Chicago isn't a great thing in december.

gotta be honest, with the exception of some of the week 1 game on Thursday, I haven't tuned in BECAUSE of the match-ups....they all bored me...I was flipping channels to see scores on the NYG-Wash game, but once it got out of hand, I didn't flip over to it....to me, it's more like "oh, that's right, there's a game on..." whereas on sundays, I like to watch the games for the most part

Mike & Mike just talking about it and the short week. All blow outs, but if you stop to think the first game wasn't on a short week, I think you have to give it a full season.
I do like that its mostly division games

I see no problem whatsoever with Thursday night football. Those were good matchups.

I forget it's on. Then if I do catch it, no point in watching a blowout.

Really hope it goes away.

Yeah was just thinking this as I read the OP.

At least we have a full week. The issue with the scedule is all the away games late in the year. However it's not really set up all the bad in a way.
We have a week until the Bears game, then 10 days before we travel to Philly, home, then away. So not really as bad as it seems. Though it seems 5 or the last 7 on the road, but one is in London, then the bye.

Only other glitch is a Sunday night game at Giants, then the T-Day game, very short week and back to back division games.
But if we are to show we belong in the playoffs, we need to win too.

This is grand, we spend the whole off-season whining about no football, now this.

They use to have a Friday night game on ABC a few times a year.
And for a while I think they had like 2 games on Saturday the last 2 weeks of the season.
Maybe interfered with college games too much. Since there are like 18 channels showing college games now.

How bad are the Commanders to have that huge home field advantage and still get smoked?

I had to leave anyway but that game last night got turned off quickly. It wasn't even competitive.

Was there a game last night? I did not know.  Thursday night is just a bad night for me; if this is what they are putting out, then I am not missing anything.

Maybe the only way to remedy this "home field advantage" is to start Thursday night football the week after the byes start. I think the road team should come from a bye week and the home team should have played a home game the Sunday prior to Thursday night.

Result could be the road team won't be that fatigued and home team doesn't have to travel.

I know I barely watch it unless of course the boys or a division rival plays. Too much going on. Sunday and Monday is fine wit me for pro ball.....but the NFL cash machine would disagree. They'll keep selling as long as the marks are buying.
