Does anyone see a problem with Thursday Night Football?

Every week it has been a blowout (the home team has won 4 out of 5 weeks)

Week 1: Seattle 36, Green Bay 16
Week 2: Ravens 26, Steelers 6
Week 3: Falcons 56, Tampa Bay 14
Week 4: Giants 45, Commanders14
Week 5: Packers 42, Vikings 10 (in 4th quarter)

Average score: 41-12

I don't think this is the product the NFL wanted to showcase (or maybe it doesn't matter if we are tuning in anyway)

I think that is just football, I think it is a bit strange to see all these blowouts but playing on Thursday is nothing new, Dallas has been doing it much of their franchise history and those games tend not to be blowout games.

they games are not competitive have turned them all of at half time except the first one.

I know I barely watch it unless of course the boys or a division rival plays. Too much going on. Sunday and Monday is fine wit me for pro ball.....but the NFL cash machine would disagree. They'll keep selling as long as the marks are buying.

I'm buying, I will never turn down a football game. Come late Feb to Aug there is no football so give me my football now, I'll gladly watch it.

Ah, i like Thursday night football. I can't believe we are at post #44 and someone has not made a big deal about the fact that Dallas has (2) of those little gems this year. maybe i missed something.:)

When it comes to football I'm like Oliver Twist "More Please" lol

With the exception of Green Bay vs Seattle, most of those are in close proximity with a short flight. Baltimore to Pittsburgh is 248 miles. That's a very quick up/down in a plane.

That will never change too much. They'll have a couple towards the end of the year but college will always dominate Saturdays.

True, I don't see the NFL trying to steal the NCAA thunder on Sat.

Thursday Night football was cool when it was a few special games a year, but the NFL is approaching the saturation point now and the quality of the product is suffering. Are they still going to have "Saturday Night Special Edition of Thursday Night Football" at the end of the year? That was a piece of marketing and branding genius right there.......

I'd be ok if they had it during the bye week period, with only teams coming off a bye week playing each other.

There's no question it doesn't get the hand-picked matchups that Sunday Night gets (for that matter, neither does Monday Night). Part of it is, everyone has to play at least once so yes, you will see the Jags, Browns, Bills, etc. Sunday Night has no such limitations and can spam the Cowboys, Broncos, Patriots 3 times each and that's before flexing in the late weeks.

It's very hard to say if you are the NFL that you are concerned with player safety, and have made it a priority, while playing games on Thursday nights.

It's also very hard to say that you are concerned with the quality of the games when you see all of the injuries throughout the league, and poor play in these games. I get that it's a business, and they are looking to grow the pie, but the quality of the game has completely fallen off.
