Been a cowboy's fan since Staubach and Dorsett days seen a lot of football in that time I'm 57 years old. I say that to say I have been around long enough and cheered for the cowboys long enough to give my honest opinion and have some merit for actually being a true fan of the team. Jerry is still trying to prove to himself that he can do what he said about anyone being able to coach a team. He fails to realize his flaw is he did not build that team nor hire the coaches who trained them into champions. Furthermore, he believes that when Switzer won, he had done it, but he was and still is mistaken. Switzer was only a figure head on that team they already knew how to win hell jerry could have stood down there in the headgear and the results would have been the same. His delusion that he has done it is why he continues to repeat the same mistakes over and over grasping at how did i do it once but can't rekindle the magic. Dallas will not be great again until they hire a great coach again shotty may not be jimmy but at least he seems to be surrounding himself with qualified assistants.

The players that jimmy found that made the team depth great was remarkable. Everyone was young and on new deals so by the time the team was ready big money contracts were not up until two super bowls were won.

What they are doing is creating depth to fight it out in traing camp to make the team. These guys that they have signed will have to earn a spot on the team. It looks like they can trade back from 12 and net 4 starters at receiver, dtackle, corner, and running back.
