Does AP want to play for Cowboys?

Let's address real positions of need on this team before we break the already broken bank replacing our existing serviceable running back.

I love AD, but you can't dump that much money into a RB in this day and age. You need a platoon of fresh, young backs as the game simply moves too fast and too hard to hold up over the long term.

It would be money and a load of draft picks for an RB that will be 29 in March with over 10,000 yards on his odometer. The Vikings would never get in a trade the value he brings them. If he was 26-27 they could entertain the thought of trading him so they can get a QB but not at this stage in his career.

No, take that cash that it would take to get him and fix the SERIOUS issues this team has with it..

Start with Defense.

AP carted off the field. Maybe we can get a serious injury recovery discount :p

AP is getting "over the hill" when it comes to "mileage" on this body. He was my #1 pick when it came to fantasy football this season and he underwhelmed more than he overwhelmed. He was nicked up for much of the season.

I wouldn't want him in Dallas, not for his salary, and not for what it would cost to acquire him.

His quest for Emmitt's record is over IMO.

too bad for AP.
I think he is a better RB than Emmitt too.

Oh come on, is this a joke? In terms of pure natural ability, maybe you have a point. But durability and career longevity makes this is non-question. Emmitt was a warrior who would play through injuries; Peterson is simply an injury liability.

Idk, maybe I'm just biased because I will never EVER forgive AP for choosing Oklahoma over Texas.
