Does Bailey Make the 63 yarder for the Win?

That's a very, very, very low percentage kick even for the best. I'd say no, he wouldn't. But he should have got the chance.

First is the 56 yarder, 2nd is 54 yards.

It looks like it's possible, but the angle and trajectory needed shrink.

He had already hit two long FG's that day, and he was kicking inside at his home stadium. If there was ever a day Bailey could hit a record tying FG, it was Sunday. Too bad we'll never know.

Record is 64 but I don't think he would have hit it as good as that man is that is a long kick.

He wouldve had a shot....the question is would the coaches have went with a hail mary instead?

If T-Will had caught the ball and--giving him a few bonus extra yards--had picked up 2-3 yards before getting out of bounds at the 45-46 yard line, would Dan Bailey have made a 63 yarder?

I realize the odds are extremely slim. His career long is 56 and that was on Sunday.
Kickers will tell you that nailing two absolute perfect kicks, distance and accuracy, in the same game is rare.
But we know Bailey and it'd been nice to see him get the chance. I'd never rule it out.

What do you think.
Just curious

I sure would have liked to find out. :(

No but would have liked to see him try. But Garrett probably would have iced him by trying to call a TO he didn't have.

He made the 56 yarder to tie his career best become halftime. I remember turning to my buddy & saying he had at least 10 yards left on that kick as it went through the uprights. There's no doubt in my mind he would have nailed it. Ms Cleo even said it would go through.

Of everybody on the team I won't question Bailey. Didn't he hit a 59 yarder 1 time but was called Garrett called a timeout or there was a penalty

Its coming he had the distance on 1 maybe 2 of his kicks in that game

Biggest issue with a 63+ vs a 56 yarder is the trajectory, 63+ with bailey would most likely get blocked because of the low drive to get it there.
