Does Mingo mean we don't have to draft a WR high?

He can't be the end all be all, we can't be placing our stock in this guy for a position of need. It's a need because we need play makers, surely not up there with OL DL RB etc!!!! How does he affect our draft. I'm guessing if he plays well it might, even if he doesn't you know how hopeful Jerry is! Please give your thoughts

this trade makes no sense.
We need draft picks in the worst way.
i was hoping one if our big salary guys would be traded for high draft picks.
Diggs, Bland, or Parsons.

We likely werent going to anyways. Not a great draft for it. In their mind, I think Mingo is them buying low on a guy they were high on a year and a half ago

Putting your faith in a fellow who couldn't even start for a 2 and 9 team might be more then optimistic. I believe he has caught 12 passes this year. He tested well at the combine and looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane.

PS. I guess we hope he can be the number 2 that replaces Cooks long term.

I’m certain another veteran minimum WR will be added before week 1 of next year and also a late round “steal“ in the draft that no one else wanted but they had ranked as a much higher pick, so Jerry can tell us how they shored up the position by working their magic…the “football guys” will come to the rescue like they always do…

They're definitely going to push Mingo to that #2 WR spot and allow him to sink/swim for at least 2025 season. So i doubt a WR is selected before Day 3 of the next draft.

Maybe one of those guys, but more so a guy that was up for a deal this summer who we probably weren't going to bring back. Guy that stands out is Osa

That's asking a lot, still, if there's a guy available why not take him. We need weapons on offense

Then he'll be a summer legend, season comes and we can't get him on the field lol

I don’t think so. I think this means you probably won’t see one taken between the 2-5th rounds. Would not shock me if they drafted one in the first unless he had a good year.

I really don’t want to think about the 2025 draft because the Joneses are in panic mode. If a big stud receiver is staring at us the Cowboys will pick him. This trade is more of a complaint/issue with receivers 2 through 5.

The Jones magic is gonna turn Mingo into an All-Pro or Jerry is gonna use those slippery hands sell more butterfinger candy bars at the stadium.

which is more reason we need to think about this and get rid of some of these guys, bye to Brooks, Turpin uhhh i'm ready to find a WR that has his speed and attributes that's actually been a WR and not just a return man

Uh No. He was struggling to find snaps in Carolina which has the worst WR core in the NFL. There is something not clicking. He may be one of these guys with great physical attributes but no dedication to his craft........which makes him a perfect fit for us.

My greatest hope already is that we are in position to draft the RB from Boise St, Ashton Jeanty.
Forget not drafting a RB in round 1. This guy is a difference maker, a playmaker in the run and passing game, a threat to go to the house on every touch.

5'9" - 215 lbs
4.42, clocked at over 22 mph in games
Elite vision, contact balance, rare combination of quickness and long speed, breaks tackles with ease due to surprising strength.
Soft hands and game breaker who anticipates gaps and shoots through them.

This guy is the real deal and exactly what the Cowboys need. He will make life easier for everyone.
