Does Mingo mean we don't have to draft a WR high?

Really, how is it a better price when you get Mingo on the rookie deal for 2 additional years and the high 7th rounder? With the 10 picks they have they very well could move back into the 4th or even into the 3rd.
wouldn't have to do that if we wouldn't have done this, we have multiple 5th's, I think they may have had other offers and to get him quickest, they offered the most!!

They don't have to do anything, but they certainly will do something with those 10 picks and they have Mingo on his rookie deal.

that's fine and I hear you, but just because he's on his rookie deal doesn't mean he's going to help our offense. He could easily be a #3, with the amount of success he's had so far, i'm not sure. I'm willing to see how this plays out though rambo

The Steelers sent a 5th for a more a more accomplished NFL receiver . If you want to say Mingo was less “ costly $$ “ ok I’m not sure how that translates into success on the field if that is what the Owner GM really wants ?

Isn't Williams contract up at the end of the season?

I would have to check but that’s even better reason Pitts got him , make the playoff run if he works out offer him a contract next season if not let him walk . At the very least Pitts looks like a WC team , Mike Williams can only help .

He can't be the end all be all, we can't be placing our stock in this guy for a position of need. It's a need because we need play makers, surely not up there with OL DL RB etc!!!! How does he affect our draft. I'm guessing if he plays well it might, even if he doesn't you know how hopeful Jerry is! Please give your thoughts
Have we still not learned where our problems originate from???

Zach Martin will retire. Half our fans want Steele gone and we are worried about WR's???

We still do not have a legit DT.

WR is not a priority.

It means Booger will be Booger.

When their selling he's buying.
And my all time favorite which will be his excuse for this one, "the Cowboys have to pay more because nobody wants to deal with us."

And that may have been true in 1994, but 30 years later, the Cowboys are the laughingstock of the league for the deals they do.

They pretty much rented him. He is a free agent. Dallas has Mingo on a rookie contract for multi years.

Pittsburgh probably not interested in getting tied up long term with a vet receiver , it’s icing on the cake they gave up a 5 to get a target for Wilson in a playoff drive

Wow, just pissed off a valuable draft pick on some bum who couldn’t even start for team that is one of the worst in the NFL!!!!!! JJ is going off the deep end right in front of our eyes. Now what, trade Parsons for a 4th rd pick in 2026! I’m not joking, when I see insanely stupid trades like this one it makes you wonder just how fricking stupid are these idiots running this team!!!!

I’m not 100% but I think the trade loses them a Comp pick too because it’s a net player calculation. Anyways, you figure if CeeDee and Cooks are out Tolbert and Turpin need help. Why do that with Dak out? Just tank like a normal team.

I don’t see WR as a high draft need. I see OL, DL, RB with the possible early pick at LB or S. On the OL I have to say I’m disappointed in Tyler at LG, they also need a RG or C/RG if you move Beebe to RG when Martin hangs them up. RT to upgrade steel might also be a decent pick or you can’t go wrong with a LT and make him a swing tackle. The OL is tricky now because they have 3 young starters that need time to gel and you don’t really know if they are all elite even though they used high draft picks. A good RB normally does a lot to help an OL.

At this point I’d probably go DE or LB, then a RB. I definitely would beef up the OL but IdK where, maybe C/OG and a swing T.
