Does parting ways with MM bring more hope or uncertainty?

Gruden wants back in and is available. Chucky would play nice with Jerry to get the job. This is my imagination running ahead of the horses.

No hope and the certainty that any HC hired will be a yes-man that has jerry jones hovering over him and will be replaced in 3-5 years

Probably a wasted emotion.. but I have a lil hope.

Thank god something has changed.. anything.. because I had absolutely no hope the way things were going.

Now if they make Zim HC.. I will be back to absolutely no hope again.

Probably more of the same as long as Jerry is still around

hope or more uncertainty.
It's interesting if you take the initial standpoint that the initial plan was to extend MM and this is his choice in players to play his system.

I think whichever coach we employ he's going to struggle in 2025, there are holes in pretty much every aspect even if they restructure 100m in CAP there are so many uncertainties. The interesting aspect is going to be whether Jerry employs a HC that can play with osentibly this squad, or a HC that has a specific system he wants to play.....if it's the latter he'll be given 2025 to evaluate what he's got. whom he wants to retain and type of player he needs.

There is no hope. Don't get suckered into believing the hype. It doesn't matter who the next coach is.

Both can be true... because he could have gotten more out of the roster (on offense)
The flawed roster that wasn't his fault? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I do think it's funny how so many are scapegoating MM. It's common for fans to need a scapegoat, so they go for the obvious, HC or QB.

I contend that McCarthy's inadequacies as a HC go beyond the obvious gaping holes in the roster. His management of the game and his ability to get this team ready for the playoffs are hard to ignore.

As for Dak, I agree he shouldn't reap all of the blame (as play calling, game plans and roster are not his fault), but he definitely shoulders a chunk of it. It's the nature of being the highest paid player on the team, he has to elevate whatever talent the offense does have. He does, at times, but he can be better, and more consistent.

I actually had more hope after Garrett left.Thats because I was ecstatic that he was finally gone. By and large I enjoyed the McCarthy years more even though we didn't do anything with them. This past year however is the worse I've experienced as a fan. Even the 1989 team I had hope for the future. I see no hope here at all. I used to fool myself that if we just got an elite qb he could overcome Jerry. I Don't think anybody can. We're not going to get a top notch coach. It will be just another episode of "as Jerry's World Turns."
