Yes it does.Does past use concern you, a Dallas fan?
But I am reminded of players like M. Step and W. Sapp.

People deal with stress differently, if it helps them to smoke a joint once a week to unwind from the rigors of their profession then I don't have a problem with that. I'd much rather have them smoke in the safety of their own home then out having drinks at bars/clubs, and potentially getting into fights/drinking and driving.
Of course anything can be a problem. If it reaches a point where it effects their productivity and physical conditioning then I would absolutely have a problem with and so should they. Although that's a touchy subject because if it wasn't marijuana it would more than likely be something else.
This is all assuming they're smart enough not to "ride dirty" with large amounts of the drug either. I'm sure they could get a friend to bring them a small personal stash to their home for them, in which case I'd think it would be fine. I'm not opposed to players smoking marijuana, i'm opposed to any that use it as a crutch because it reflects deeper and more personal issues that they can't address.

Mainly because those who do use the drug can't seem to grasp the reality that because it is illegal they are risking their careers and affecting the team. I think it is safer than alcohol, but illegal is illegal. There is a reason they call it dope. It describes the people who think they need it. They can't grow up.

I don't care for it, I don't do it. However, I don't think people who do use it are any worse than people who drink.
But, like you said illegal is illegal.

So maybe one day the cowboys, when in calif., can actually injest . . . naw, nevermind.
