No question. He leads the franchise in every important statistical category.

In a league that does nothing but throw the football....that means very little. Besides...before Romo...this franchise as never been about #'s. It's been about Wins. Hence the records you speak of are very pedestrian numbers compared to the rest of the NFL.

Yep, Romo "never had the surrounding cast" in over 10 years as a starter of the Dallas Cowboys

Not even once

Another one ........ :muttley:

again ...... compare the o-line and RB Tony had with Troy,Jimmy and Danny.

I know you guys dont know this ....... but its not all about the "flashy" skill positions.

Tom Brady
Peyton manning
Big Ben
Aaron Rogers
Eli Manning
Drew Brees
Russel Wilson
Joe Flacco

These are the QBs who have won SBs in the last 10 years. Did Romo never once have a supporting cast better than them? That is a laughable assertion.

Add in all the QBs that have played in a SB

THEN add in all QBs who have taken their teams to conference championship games..... That has to be more than 50% of the QBs

Romo NEVER had a supporting cast better than ANY of them?

At some point the QB has to be held accountable

At some point your argument falls flat on its face

Yes, Romo will go into the Cowboys ring of honor. Absolutely no doubt.
Will he make hall of fame ? Probably not, but the debate will happen every year he is eligible.
After he misses for the first couple of years, you know what I would love to see ? Romo announcing Witten into the Hall !
Now, that would be something !

What year should Dallas have won the Super Bowl?

I'm pretty sure Tony will win a spot in the Ring of Honor. Jerry & Stephen both love Romo and so do most Cowboys fans.

Great Cowboy, but I just don't want to see his name up there.
He couldn't win in the playoffs, and he couldn't win the final games to get into the playoffs, and no, it wasn't all on the lack of teammates. He always had weapons on offense, always, and he scored lots of points, but at crunch time with playoffs on the line, turnovers killed him more often than lack of defense.

I'd bet Jerry names the damn stadium after him.

Rather than build a team for him in his earler years they just put it all on his shoulders....hence taking chances causing turnovers at inopportune times................once again another career lost due to our esteemed GM.

Romo, Witten, and Ware are locks as far as I'm concerned. I know people will disagree with this but even Dez is too.
