Does Scandrick start when healthy?

I'm sorry CC, you are one of my favorite posters, but I just can't decode this one. It's an Enigma to me.
Citgo and Sherwin were the industrial sites. When a firetruck responds, the start point for hose pressure off of water from the truck were 116 pounds and 92 pounds respectively.

The goal was putting out the fire, but the starting pressures are adjusted depending upon the veil that is needed over the structure...for fire control.

By comparison, despite the start points chosen by practice...one adjusts with the fire needing controlled. The same with our secondary.

Scandrick is a start point as well...

I give Scandrick credit for shutting down OBJ back in 2014, but I do think he is a little overrated.

How many career picks does he have?

The secondary seems to playing fine without him. So why mess up good chemistry....isn't this the same theory that is being used on Romo vs. Dak....so it should go for any position on the team....

Yes a different deal than QB....so just rotate him in...

How many good front sevens has he had? Fans, too often, equate the level of play of a CB with INTs. It's certainly a measure to consider but it's not the be all end all. I'll take CB that never gives up a TD (like Newman did for over a year+) over a guy that gives up 10 and collects 5 INTs. All day. Every day.

Not buying that excuse because this secondary has a pedestrian pass rush this season and is playing at a high level.

Scandrick wouldn't be a ballhawk with Von Miller and Ware. Hard to get INT's when you don't even look back at the ball.

This team needs Scandrick back for depth purposes (no more Heath at slot CB please), but I view him as the team's 4th best CB right now.

I honestly hope they stick with Brown. What yall think?

Scandrick did not look like himself earlier this year and don't think he was remotely close to 100%. Because when he is, he is a real blanket guy, with a knack for covering guys in the slot, which may be the single most challenging position on defense. Love Brown too, he shows that same fight and tenacity that frankly, got Scandrick noticed to begin with.

This is another good problem to have. Both will see lots of PT.

There are plenty of snaps to go around. The coaches will simply choose to play more nickel and dime packages, unless we're facing a run-heavy opponent, which is rare.

Stop it. Mo is the best and scandrick is #2. Brandon Carr and the rookie Brown arent better than him. Prisoner of the moment

A year after knee injuries, the guy usually has small injuries that linger. Looks like knee injuries usually take 2 years to 1000% heal. I don't think Scandrick was ready. He looks noticeably less quicker, and not as in shape as he was prior. Being in shape is crucial to playing fast-paced defense.
Brown looks quick, in shape, and ready to go. I say keep things as they are, and work Scandrick in as your 4th CB unless Brown drops off a tad.

Sarcasm alert...

The team is winning why mess with the momentum? The future is now. What will Scandrick do that Brown can't do to make the defense better? Scandrick hasn't played in nearly two seasons, he may be gun shy. Do we really want to have a rusty corner out there? Who believes in the old adage that injures players can't lose their starting job just due to bring injured? TB12 got his position due to Bledsoe being injured...look how that turned out!

While I'm at it...the same applies to Dez Bryant!

Hey Mods...can we have a CB and WR Zone as well please?

Sarcasm off...

I don't think it is any coincidence the secondary starting playing better when we moved Wilcox off FS and replaced him with BJones...add in a motivated Mo and a surprising Brown and it is light years better....Wilcox is even making some big hits when he is in at SS......OScan will do nothing but add talent and knowledge to the secondary....there are plenty of snaps for everyone

I am down with anything that promotes a youth movement or change in the status quo, good lad.
Scamdrick, Romo, McFadden etc can be quality backups if they restructure to the bone.
Otherwise on with the future because, chaps, it's a long way to Tipperary....

Scandrick was really good but all we've seen from him this season is him getting toasted and looking slow and out of shape. Perception can change in a heart beat. I say start him when healthy and if he stinks then yank him.

he got beat on one play by one of the best players in the league.

Some of you guys are nuts.

A healthy Scandrick is better than a healthy Brown. A healthy Scandrick is the best Cowboys corner under contract in 2017. Any questions?
