Does Taking Jordan Love At 17 Make Sense If No Dak Deal Is Made By Draft Day

IMO, biggest chance to be a flop in this draft are 3 dudes. Herbert...not sure his mechanics are fluid enough to get the ball out quickly.That could be a problem. Jordan Love...he played at Utah State..and didn't have a great year this year..he seems to be the media's PET CAT...flavor of the day of the GM'S. Count me as not sold yet.He seems to stare down guys and struggles in his reads.Relies on his arm too much. MANY will give me flack on this one, but I will say Chaisson. The edge guy from LSU. He has to go to the perfect team in order for him to be used right. He is a thinner fast edge guy with great bend.BUT he lacks strength/girth at the line of scrimmage. Seems like more of a specialist than a starter. We really wanna draft a specialist in round 1? Seems to me he's overvalued. Great athlete,but the issue is, where do ya play him? Bust factor is high with him.

Love has a stronger arm and is very fast . his release is very swift.
some of herbert mechanics need improvement but his arm strength is good , but most importantly he is so good at reading defenses and does not get flustered.

at the end of the 2019 season if you would have asked me what was more likely, Dak getting so emotionally depleted by bickering with Jerry over a few million dollars that he's willing to sit out 2020 if they don't trade him, or I'd be arrested for going outside, Id say the latter is ridiculous and impossible so itd be Dak.

Panthers and Colts very well could draft quarterbacks. Colts have Phillip Rivers. Panthers have Bridgewater but who knows if he’s in their future plans. He only signed a 3 year deal.

it depends regarding the 8-8. If the QB shows signs of improvement since they'd be a rookie if that's what was to happen most would be ok. On here it would be the same Dak civil war but most Cowboys fan will be like cool. If the QB doesn't show any signs of being at least on Dak level that's when it will be a real problem IMO.
