Does the 1994 NFC Championship game still bug you?

The Cowboys have certainly lost more than their share of big games that they were the better team. I hate the niners too but even they don't compare to the special hate I hold exclusively for the stealers. Those old enough to remember the 70's know the Cowboys were top to bottom the best team of the decade and just hearing all the crap about pittsburg irritates that pee out of me. We flat out gave away those super bowls to those clowns, both 4 pt, games.

If I remember correctly, Larry Allen (filling in for the injured Big E) was playing RT on an extremely sprained ankle.

I think LA (rook) was suffering from multiple injuries, not just the ankle sprain. He was getting embarassed by the Niner DE (Tim Harris? Rickey Jackson?). I about killed myself yelling for Switzer to replace him w/Ron Stone. By the time he did, the game was out of hand.

There was still a chance but Switzer sucked, w/a captal "S", in making in game adjustments. He just had no clue what was going on during a game. NONE.

Why is it that discussing what might have been has such allure?

I'll go with SB XIII and the 1981 Championship Game as the most painful.

I'll believe til the day I die we were the better team for both games and should have won.

I could go on for hours on the historical significance of those games.

I hear you, but the thing about historical significance is that its diminished on those who didn't live it, are unaware of it or ignore it.

Short answer, no. It's in the past, let it go. The 90's are gone.

What DOES bug me is the playoff loss to the Giants. That will sting for quite some time.

That was tough, but it wasn't that bad. We would have probably been eliminated the next round.
