Does the Giants' 38 point loss to the Panthers invalidate our win over them?

Just asking, because you know someone asked if the Chiefs victory over the Eagles validated our loss to them the other day.

Come on. Every week in the NFL is different. Very few teams either excel every week (maybe Denver will) or stink every week (Jax).

We have played good football overall in all 3 games. We lost a tough road game by 1 point. We are well on the way to being a good football team period.

Every game is a game in and of itself it does not validate or invalidate the outcome of another game.

No. I love it that Dallas sent them in that direction though.

Why some folks do this? Win is a win, why need a validation? Bottom line is we are 1-0 against Giants this season, regardless what they do against another team or other teams.

No, the panthers are just the best team in the NFL, they even have superman playing for them. Like how is that even fair?

This. Looked how the Niners looked in Week 1 and everyone thought they would pick up from last season and continue to roll. But not so fast. They have scored a total of 10 points the last 2 weeks. They have looked horrible. Does that invalidate Seattle dominating them? No. This isn't the NFL from the pre salary cap days where you could pretty much pinpoint who exactly was going to be competing for the Super Bowl. It's a crapshoot now.

Any division win is a good win. It's a win and move on league. We don't have voters and computer rankings to worry about. There is no style points and you can't start comparing wins with other teams.
