Mo Claiborne wishing happy birthday to Rueben Randle of the Giants on Instagram.. Like , even if he is your friend show some respect to the Cowboys fans who support you. This really pulled Mo down a notch, this is weak to me. I know they were teammates in college, but he should be the enemy now.



I feel like we are the softest team in the league, always helping other players up after tackling them and showing love to them.. But then we get smacked in the face by everyone. This is a constant theme in my eyes.

Says who? Them? Like any player or coach is going to come out and say theiry afraid of someone. Anything else is pure speculation and heresay. And if they don't fear us, it's not because we're soft. It's because we're not that good.

Lol, aright.. Well I've never seen any team in the NFL show as much love as our players do to opposing teams. I mean, Tashard Choice getting Vick's autograph post game in public is a prime example of this. We have a group of soft players who don't have any dog in them. Look at the teams at that top right now, Ravens, Seahawks, 49ers.. Just wish our players had more of a mean streak in them like players on these teams.

Lock up the thread since everyone just accepts this behavior. Back in my playing days it was more difficult to play against guys who were mean in comparison to guys who were cupcakes. Do I need to show the clip where Sean Lee gets leveled and no one on our team proceeds to gain any vengeance? This kind of stuff matters, whether you're willing to admit it or not.

This wishing of a happy birthday is not something that is groundbreaking, not a big deal at all. My point is that our team has way too many friendly gestures for other players. At least in my eyes.

Our DBs will pat the other WRs helmets after a reception, while the opponents DBs give Dez extra licks.

You do realize it's all a fraternity now, right? Has been for awhile now. This isn't the 70s and that era where there were true rivalries and true hatred between players. Half of these players are friends now. You see it after the game when they are laughing it up with each other.

I think the problem the OP is having is that he is connecting dots that don't exist.

Saying Happy Birthday to a friend on another team is indicative of the play on the field. At the end of the day, regardless of how we may feel, this is a business. This is not the 1980's or even early 90's. this is the new decade of football. It's time we stop saying back in my day, we're not in your day, we are in this day. And in this day, players wish each other happy birthday. Regardless of team
