What's he done? He was injured and we didn't push it. What's he done? He hasn't had any chance to show much but got good reports in OTA's. He has only been a Cowboy for 4 months for crying out loud.

I have always wondered about the Cowboys beat writers - they never ask the hard questions - ever. I have commented on it over the last few years.
Makes me wonder if they are tolď if you ask tough questions, or get on a coach/player - that they will get no inside stuff from organisation.

So I am kinda lost here. Guy hasnt practiced in weeks due to some back issue. They give him a shot which theoretically only covers up the pain. How long does this miracle shot last, mid February? Isnt the issue gonna return shortly and they will be back to square one? I have no medical back ground but something doesnt add up.

They do not want us to know how serious his back injury is. Translation is its more serious than Dallas wants to let on but not serious enough to place on IR. May fix the problem in the offseason. Hope this helps.

Me thinks Dallas is working on a trade which we will find out about on Wednesday or Thursday.

As said, they have to be working on something. Keeping 2 fullbacks and then only 8 DL, two of which are rookies coming off injuries with limited preseason action, is bizarre.

Unless Garrett thinks they are going to run the ball 50 times a game and try to keep the defense on the sidelines for 40 minutes a game.

I am no doctor but i have experience here since i have a bad back. If it is a trigger point injection which i doubt it won't last long i had this once and it did nothing. If it is cortizone or steroid shot it is suppossed to last 3 to 6 months ( depending what you do) and i believe you are only aloud to get so many of those in a one year period i think 3 someone correct me if i'm wrong. I have had close to 4 sets of these over 2 years 2 times they didn't last one month 1 time it lasted about 2 months 1 time they missed where it was suppossed to go and 2 weeks later i was back doing it again. I also ( forgot the procedure name ) had the nerves burnt by an injected chemical to block the pain it didn't work for me either. The danger is when they work you feel pretty good but are constantly doing more damage so when the shot wears off he will feel worse especially being in such a violent sport backs are tricky. hope this helps

But if the injury was very minor it is possible to have a shot and do physical therapy to strengthen the injured location i was to injured for this to work for me and i am unsure what is exactly wrong with him
