Based on our draft history a few spots up or down won't make much difference.

How much does it cost to move up in the draft a few spots? Significant assets right? I don't understand this notion that it's "only a few spots."

How much did a few spots cost the Commanders for RG3?

Also It's a few spots in each round. The value is undeniable.

And this value is acquired for the price losing a game that has absolutely no meaning.

Anyone who wants to win this game simply doesn't have the willpower to give up a very small short term benefit for a much more meaningful long-term gain.

I'd much rather pick 4th in EACH round than drop back 4 more positions just to say we beat the Commanders when it will have no real affect on them since they are guaranteed to be in the playoffs.

Having a higher position each round can net you better prospects across the board.
