Good dude but not worth that much with 2 int’s in his entire career.
He would need about 40 INTs over his career to be worth that much money.

Very very true. Some of this is typical Cowboys homerism though......... because we didn't bring him back, he's clearly overpaid and not very good. But if we had signed Jones to an extension those same people would be praising the FO for bring back a key veteran.

LololololololSo he wasnt interested in winning, just money. Guy will be cut in 3 years....
What does that have to do with completely mischaracterizing one of our players?Venture to guess which player’s team has more success moving forward?
Ya even though he’ll give up the occasional play and has hands of stone he’s a good cover guyHappy he is out of the East
Not sure what being a fan has to do with it but I’ll bite.Brace yourselves for all of the Fan Boys telling us all how that 2021 compensatory 3rd round pick will be sooooooo valuable.
Oh really? Go look up tape of the Gb game, broncos game, giants games and get back to me. You can clearly see him running AWAY from ball carriers!
I wonder if he gave the Cowboys a chance to match.
I really didn't care if he stayed or if he went. He was good at covering but was not a game-changing CB. He never seemed to elevate his game in big games.
Sounds like you're a glass half full kind of guy. He's not Deion, but he's a Pro Bowl corner. Happy he didn't go to Eagles. Probably will be drafting a CB at 17 now.He fits right in. Just kind of a half *** motor sunshine type of dude. Run away from tacklers, cover once in a while etc.
Was Prime not one of, if not the top paid CBs as a Falcon? I'm willing to bet Byron is one of the highest paid CBs right now. My point stands. No, he didn't.

No one is exaggerating. I said one of the highest paid. How is that blowing up the market?https://overthecap.com/position/cornerback/
Cornerback contracts. Your point does not "stand" because Byron Jones didn't blow up the market, you don't know what you're talking about. A player like Gilmore if he was due for a contract would most likely get "Dion" money.
This is $17 million a year, while he hit FA. Xavien Howard gets $15 million which he got without hitting FA. Trumaine Johnson sucks and is getting $14 million currently.
Stop exaggerating.
