The question is, do you have Shiner Bock? We don't get it here in the North East. :bang2: We do however get Negra Modello! :)

Shiner Bock is excellent. I have been drinking Shiner Blonde a lot also lately.

oh yeah, look forward to the christmas ale every year.

last couple of years have been down ones for their Christmas Ale though ... 2007 was pretty weak, tasted a bit like flat pepsi.

Shiner Bock is everywhere, dude (at least in the South). I've been drinking it for years.

Whats your good domestic of choice?

And what is your cold cheapy of choice?

I lived right down the road from the New Belgium brewery, so I have a soft spot for all of their beers. Fat Tire is the most well known NB beer and is also the most widely available, tap or bottle, but all of their beers are pretty high quality. So, for a fairly widespread domestic, Fat Tire would probably be my choice. It's something that I know I can get in most places when I'm traveling.

As a cold cheep beer, really I'm ok with any of the domestic lights, PBR or a cheap Mexican beer like Corona. I know that they hardly qualify as real beer, but they're perfect if you're doing something fairly active and don't want to be weighed down.

So, widespread domestic: Fat Tire
Cold cheapy: Miller Lite

Why does FT increasingly taste like ash? I used to love Fat Tire but the more widely distributed it gets, the worse it seems to taste.

I like Fat Tire, but it's not something I can drink to often. Sort of like Killians Red. I just can't drink it very much even though I like it. If I'm buying beer, I like Negra Modello, Modello Especial, Sam Adams Light, Amstel Light, Becks, Shiner Bock, and Newcastle Brown Ale. There is also stuff from the Brooklyn Brewery. I like their Brooklyn Brown Ale, and Brooklyn Lager.

If I'm buying a cheap Amercian beer, Miller Lite or regular Coors though regulalr Coors is getting very hard to find here. They have far more favor than the other garbage. Coors Light is water and isn't worth drinking. Just about every Anheuser Busch product gives me headaches so they're out.

I don't know, it always had a consistent flavor in CO. Maybe it has something to do with increased processing/transportation time as demand grows? Got me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed Fat Tire not being as good as it was years before.

I just got into Landshark.I had no idea what it was cause they
named the Dolphin stadium after that and then someone told me
that it's Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Brewery, its taste is between
a Corona and a Corona lite.

That's like being in between water and water with a slice of lemon

I bought a bottle of New Belgium's Mothership Wit today at lunch. Holy crap, what a great beer. I think I like it more than Fat Tire.
