It's a disaster if Jerry uses the playoff berth to pay Dak 50 million APY with an extension. If we make the playoffs and Dak doesn't get extended then I completely agree with you. So I guess the disaster would be extending Dak with a pay raise. If they extended Dak with a pay cut to clear up cap space and give time for Trey to develop then that would be okay. I doubt Dak, Tad and Todd would allow that to happen.
I could see splitting with Was and NYFG, and losing both to Philly, given how they are playing now.
They aren't unless Dak does something in the playoffs. Old Jerry would have. New Jerry not doing it.

This club is going to be lucky if they finish third in their own division. The offense is led by an overpaid, over hyped, less than mediocre QB who goes MIA against the better competition in the league. The defense can't stop anyone who has a decent QB with a decent arm and when they do players take it upon themselves to sabotage the defense good play with non-stop insane penalties that end up in scoring drives for their opponents! PLAYOFFS are not in this team's future with players they have on this team, not going to happen.
I don't think Jerry would survive if we don't make the playoffs.
