It was a judgement call had the ball not touched the ground and came loose it would have stood.

Three. Steps. How can you possibly take three steps, twist and almost change direction, then LUNGE toward the goal line and at no time did you make a "football move." Stupid. It's not a judgment call. It's cut and dry. They botched it.

This is poetic justice or injustice depending on whether you're a Cowboys fan or a Lions fan.
Last week, the Hutchins no-penalty becomes the controversial play of the year. Today, the no catch by Dez becomes the controversial play of the year.
And the play assures that the Cowboys will be the subject of discussion this entire week.

Oh, well. Go SEATTLE!

The ball came loose when Dez lunged and hit the ground that's what cost him the catch.
Right. But for that lunge, he would have pulled it in for a catch. So the question is -- does lunging count as a "football move" after you've established control of the ball? The answer to that has to be obvious to anyone.

Practically every time you see a ball touch the ground and the ball comes loose
Why would it be reversed? Its obvious he had control of the ball. Took 2-3 steps. Then lunged into the endzone which caused the fumble. The thing to read here is he had control, took 2-3 steps. Thats a completion. Now go argue over something else.

If it's obvious he had control it wouldn't have been reversed. The ball touching the ground and coming loose cost him a catch.

Thats not the Calvin Johnson call. He establish that he had the ball, took 2-3 steps and lunged into the endzone. The ground caused the fumble. I don't know what your looking at. The best call would be to have the play stand. That was the worst call in the history of the NFL.

The three step came as he was going to the ground. Therefore, the rule say he must maintain possession. He did not. Incomplete.

If three steps with the ball isn't enough to count as a football move, how many do you have to take? 7? 17?

Jerry should fire Goddell immediately

How is it justice when it wasn't PI?
