Philly is a great sports town. We stay with our teams, through the good and bad.

Dallas.....well it just seems like a boring sports town.

No Dallas is a champaigne and southwest fjaitas kind of town. Much like the old saying of act like you've been there before, we are very spoiled and accustomed to winning. With 8 Super Bowl appearances and numerous close calls we are not complacent with merely being competitive, we also distain hoolaganism. As for the rest of Dallas sports, the Mavericks have witnessed a long awaited revival during the Mark Cuban tenure and the Dallas Stars are consistently a competitive force in the NHL with two Stanley Cup appearances and one victory in the last decade. The weakest link are the Texas Rangers but I have little interest in baseball and am not invested in the outcome of their season. So there you have it, the Dallas Metroplex area is accustomed to championship runs and winners, it is actually expected and the only thing deemed acceptable.
