I thought we rented Jarrod?

I wouldn't rent a house where the toilets don't flush.

Weeden absolutely stinks.

Chalk up 6 losses if he plays six games for Dallas.

I suppose we can hope that HOU keeps 3 QBs and we don't get the option.

I think if a team puts in a waiver claim, he becomes part of the team on his existing salary. I suppose you're right that he could not report and "wait it out," but there wont be jobs left as other QBs sign/get picked up. And then he'd be out of a job and a salary.

Ok, thanxs for clearing that up.

I'd take Geno over Weeden.

I wouldn't would rather have a QB who knows our system and actually performed pretty well in it at times last season. Weeden had a very good game against New Orleans and our defense lost it.

It might not be a popular opinion, but I think Weeden gets more criticism than he deserves. He didn't play well at all during the NE game, but he led a game-tying drive against NO and played well enough against Atlanta where we should have been able to win that game. The defense let him down during those two games.

Not saying I want him back, but I think he played better than what most people initially remember.

He doesn't have a choice if we make a waiver claim for him. Just like PIT with Mettenberger.

I don't believe Weeden will be subject to waivers. He has been in th league too long and should becom a free agent the second he is waived.

Weeden would have won a couple of games last season for us if our defense stood up.

I don't see how you can sell Weeden to the Cowboy fan base even as a #3 after last year.

Statistically he wasn't bad and played well enough in two of his three starts for us to win. He would be a pretty easy sell right now based on our situation because he knows our system. He's not going to be brought here to start just back up.

I'm actually curious about Smith. He won 8 games his rookie season with a bad team and threw a perfect game in his last regular season action. Would be a good backup for Dak considering the skill set.

Out of all those mentioned, I would take Showers over them especially Weeden

I think he would come in as #2 but I see your point.

And I don't see the front office wanting to redo last year.

To me..Michael Vick should be the guy.

Sort of what DAK reminds me of anyway.

He might learn something from Vic.

I'm guessing its why they have waited to signed anybody significant..

they don't want to guarrantee their salary and are waiting..

but something is up with Scandricks restructure..
