.. I see some major problems with our offense. You can't watch that first half and not admit we miss a game breaker threat that enable us to vertical extend the field. We are not going to go far with Witten leading us in pass receptions and yards. The offense looked real basic and lacked big play potential outside of the long runs from Felix.

We will run into teams who will slow our running attack and I wonder if we will be able to counter with an ***ective passing attack. I'm glad we won but we are not a dominate looking team.

I'm smelling a 9-7 year

I'll save my pessimism for after losses, thank you. For if you're right, I've only got seven wins left to enjoy, so I'll make sure I have fun with this one.

The only problem I see with the offense is penalties. They are drive killers. Our offense is different then it has been the last few seasons, but that isnt a bad thing. However, you cant be a grind it out running team if you are getting penalties on every possession.

Tony Romo said the offense took what they gave them tonight... I can't complain because the running game looks outstanding!

Lets not forget the fact we didn't have heart of our offense on the field. Barber is what gets this offense rolling. He'll be good to go next week.

We might end up 9-7, but unless some guys get hurt it wont have anything to do with the offense.

The running game is absolutely legit. Teams will have to start altering their game plans against us to stop the run, and when they do there are going to be some big openings in the intermediate to deep areas, and we have guys who can make those plays.

When they shift to trying to slow the running attack the passing game will open up. Teams will blitz less and stack the box.

And we have WRs that can freaking block. Roy Williams has show to be a really aggressive blocker. I have been impressed.

you sound like sniveling steve young on espn.

reality check.. wade & jason are our coaches... LOWER your expectations.

no vertical gamebreakers is a BENEFIT for this stupid team with mediocre defense. More possession time and more plays on offense means less time our defense is shredded.

plus - if they can stay healthy, a big IF - we have the best RB trio in the league. USE THEM techmo.

I think they were a little tenative during the first half and trying not to make any big mistakes. Carolina also did a good job of bringing the pressue. It wasn't a dominating performance but it was a good win for them.

so we have an hour or so to revel in a win

but a week to go ballistic after a loss?

nice math

I still have some concerns but I'm happy we got a win. 4 things i liked was

#1 special teams continue to be solid(Folks missed fg was a fluke imo)

#2 we were missing Barber and still ran for 200+ yards. props to the o-line and tightends for the great run blocking

#3 defense finally showed up especially in the 2nd half. got a few sacks and turnovers and other than the panthers 1st drive tnew looked like the tnew we're used to seeing

#4 we finished the game. Wade still called that prevent crap but our D-line mainly Butler helped finish the game. we didn't stop playing till the final whistle blew.

once again i'm just happy we got the win.

C'mon man and enjoy the win! Yall ***** about everything!

once you come to terms with the fact that Wade will get us no where you'll learn to appreciate the wins we do get.
We're not a playoff team right now and we're definitely not a SB team so there's not point in looking at the big picture every week. Just enjoy the games and let the pieces fall where they fall

Word....I'll enjoy the wins we get and who knows hopefully we get that spark and turn into a bad*** team:D

Hopefully, Dallas will draft a "TRUE SPEED WR" in this coming draft.

Yes, yes, I know Dallas won but you can't tell me that this offense isn't missing a deep threat.

Yep, with Barberian there, we score a TD on the first drive in the 3rd and then with 2nd and goal at the 1.

Did you just become a Cowboys fan?

We're a 2nd half team, get used to it.

And as for HOW we won....are you really complaining about not winning in "sexy" fashion?

Go jump on the New Orleans bandwagon, I hear it's kinda hot right now.

An effective passing attack like against Tampa a few weeks back? I'm impressed with this offense. So far this year the offense has been explosive in spots. The key is consistency. You have to realize that you take what the defense gives you as well.
